STORYBOARD

Within this document you will find an overview of the planned shoot style & storyboard for the R9 video production commencing week beginning 19th May 2014. Premise, build an elegant, stylised set of visuals around the day in the life of a property with Residence 9 fittings installed.

Using the early morning sunrise & beautiful lure to engross & encapsulate the viewer & traverse them through a day into the lush evening sunsets. Show piece the R9 brand values of luxury & design at all points & the very British nature of Residence 9.

At all points throughout the piece the messages of security, warmth, elegance & craftsmanship with be the focus. The style will be sleek, elegant camera moves on jib arms, slow time lapses, lateral pans & slow focus pulls. Using a shallow depth of field we will focus the viewers attention & lead the eye.

Time lapse footage as the sun comes up. Various vistas of a very British nature.

Wide of the countryside, cows entering the field. Dog walker or farmer in the distance.

Morning bird song will build into the audio. Starting from the very quiet stillness.

Introducing the very selective human element. Tractor coming down the lane. Minimal faces and human visuals

Through a sleepy village the post-van drives down the lane.

Short time lapse as the early morning sun throws shapes on the floor through the window.

Views through the window. Curtains moving gently in a breeze. Slow motion.

Extreme close up of luxurious curtains, light coming through them.

Track out from R9 window on the lock, owners hand comes into frame. Opens window to a jar.

Various scenes of bed rooms after a well rested night. Well read newspapers are there left on bedside tables. Views through windows.

Post van comes down the road.

Our sounds build as kettles come on & family life begins to stir the homes. Steam from kettles causing condensation on the window. Flares as the low light comes through.

Time lapses of the variety of homes. Sun reflecting in windows.

Postman coming down the lane.

Ears prick up to sounds on an on comer. Footsteps on a gravel drive way.

Close up, no faces. First meeting of the day.

Bathrooms in use. Sound of showers, condensation on windows. Views in & out of windows.

Low level shot depicting shoes being tied. Kids leaving with school bags the home.

Gentle hum of radio noise, cricket scores etc. Radio being turned off as everyone prepares to leave the house.

The house becomes still. Audio levels drop.

We hear wind at the window but the mobile hangs still.

Neat, well dress houses stand still in the middle of the day.

Little plants stand in a window sill.

Close up details of locks and mechanisms showcase the security benefits

Secure & safe while the inhabitants are out at work or school.

Life begins to stir again. Busy hallways low level & close up shots of human activity, no faces.

Still & quiet, light lowering as we move into the afternoon.

Beautifying the windows we frame them up & make them the hero.

Through window views of busy kitchens, as out of focus shapes move round living rooms & kitchens.

Inhabitants gather together in front room - gentle hubbub & sounds of life. Light lowering, taking us though into the evening.

Wheels on gravel drives. Jib arm starting low & close moving up to wides as families return home.

Beautiful sunsets seen through different windows as families go to bed. Sounds of brushing teeth & bedtime stories.

Track back from beautiful view to reveal beautiful window as sun lowers & everyone retires.

Houses left neat & well presented. Windows become the hero again as life begins to slow.
