EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Why R4M?
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recover
Four simple words that will define the future of our Earth. We live in the era of the BOGO
(buy one get one free), the special sale, the great deal you absolutely cannot pass up. It
is a world where we are taught from a very young age, to quickly dispose of anything old
or unused, by simply throwing it in the trash and replacing it with the newest or latest
version. We keep buying more and more, filling our private spaces and lives with an
incredible number of unnecessary items and goods. Until finally, driven by the desire to
“unclutter,” we rid ourselves of those same items, tossing them into the trash at the
curbside.
From there, our waste is collected by a public or private waste service, and thus begins
the journey that ultimately concludes in one of the following ways - buried in a landfill,
incinerated for the purpose of producing energy, or simply incinerated, simultaneously
emitting dangerous gases into the atmosphere. Unfortunately, a considerable portion of
that waste ends up being dispersed into the environment with catastrophic results, with
only a small portion actually recycled, recovered and reused.
At R4MONITORING, we believe that Earth can no longer sustain the amount of waste
created each and every day. There is no question that recycling is critically important.
However, when the recycling process lacks efficiency and is not being employed strategically, the result is often more pollution to contend with, not less. The waste
collection and transportation industry clearly demonstrate how a system designed to
eliminate waste and reduce pollutants is failing, because of its inefficient deployment.
R4MONITORING was built on a simple premise. We are driven by a simple idea; disrupt
the waste collection and management worldwide industry with a system of advanced
technology, Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), targeting the entire
waste collection and management process, starting at the very core of the business –

1. INTRODUCTION
With extensive experience in the waste and recycling industry, the R4MONITORING
Team has developed the most technologically advanced, cutting-edge waste
management monitoring system; deploying 1,000+ state-of-the-art monitoring units in the
last 6 months alone. Our mission is to transform an archaic waste collection system with
innovation and strategies that will generate incredible revenue for like-minded eco-
conscious adopters and investors while helping in reducing pollution and CO2 emissions
for the betterment of our planet.
How? The answer is simple. Eliminating inefficiency in the waste collection pickup
process. Regularly scheduled pickup sounds like the height of efficiency but that is the
contradiction in the waste industry that R4 Monitoring addresses. Reducing the number of inefficient waste collection pickups, resulting in less transportation vehicles on the road, translates into - less fuel utilized, less CO2, less energy wasted on maintenance of waste collection equipment; which will require less maintenance in general, as a result of more efficient use.
In fact, the R4MONITORING system’s simple premise of streamlining the transport
logistics of waste collection, will have a domino-like effect of allowing the system to self-
correct decades of “wasted” energy and effort. Instead, using AI technology, big data
analysis, and GPS / GPRS control, R4MONITORING provides real time tracking,
monitoring and remote management of waste collection devices. The system is capable
of identifying optimal times for collection, based on whether the unit is full to its capacity,
and also features a series of alerts and alarm systems, making it possible to see, in real
time, the operating status of each compactor, predicting the need for routine, or out of the
ordinary maintenance. R4M’s sophisticated waste collection equipment sensors, provide
the ability to manage logistics the correct way - by accurately predicting what is required
and when, on an as needed basis.

This White Paper focuses on analyzing the current waste market and the existing
inefficiencies impacting the environment. We will explore why R4MONITORING
represents the solution for increasing efficiency in the waste collection and transportation
business, and our plan for addressing old problems with innovative, effective solutions,
including: IoT, AI, blockchain driven implementations and cryptocurrency economical
exchanges. 1.1 WASTE LOGISTICS AND INEFFICIENCY Human activities heavily impact the environment, with consumption of natural resources
and production of waste that are faster and more aggressive than what our Earth can
withstand. Over the centuries, industrial and technological advances have continued to
develop, enhancing our lives in so many ways, but the price to pay is in the resulting
damage to the environment, caused by heavy industrialization and urban living; damage
that has reached alarming levels the planet will not be able to withstand in the long term.
Increased sustainability has become critically important and is recognized by
governments all over the world as something that must be acted upon in the present, to
protect our planet for the future. And while many international governments are taking
measured steps to improve long-term sustainability, through the development of better
policies and by establishing corporate accountability for energy efficiency and waste
management, it is clear we have a long way to go and more intervention is needed.
Enhancing and increasing sustainability is a gesture of responsibility, but it is also a core
process improvement that not only reduces waste, it reduces costs. R4MONITORING
was developed to provide technologically advanced solutions to the waste collection and
transportation business. We increase efficiency providing systems and solutions that
enhance the recycling and recovering of waste items, while ultimately making a larger,
positive impact on the environment. With more efficient collection and handling at the
source of the entire process, R4MONITORING is able to work with industry players,
providing immediate economical and process improvements that will result in increased
![Page 8: R4MONITORING V1.7 · The number of waste compactors, containers, carriers, transport vehicles, storage and sorting areas grows together with the need to reduce waste and increase](https://reader035.fdocuments.us/reader035/viewer/2022063004/5f8a87840e2dbe77681274c5/html5/thumbnails/8.jpg)

efficiency in the waste collection industry. 1.2 WASTE MANAGEMENT CYCLE: FROM PRODUCTION TO LOGISTICS
The management of waste and recycled materials business model of today is a complex
series of steps, that has not considerably evolved over the last 40 years. The
management process of waste collection often depends on the economic development
of the country in question. However, every company and commercial activity occurring in
the majority of industries across the globe today are, in effect, real producers of waste
and recoverable waste. The current process places the responsibility for differentiating,
storing and shipping of waste in the hands of the manufacturer/business producing the
waste. In the vast majority of cases, the manufacturer/business producing the waste
subcontracts out the waste collection, transportation and recycling to specialized waste
management companies, which essentially replaces the manufacturer/business in the
waste supply chain.
The waste management company typically places a series of roll-off compactors onsite,
to collect and sort waste according to the type of material. Waste products are sorted
accordingly, to separate reusable materials such as - plastic, paper, cardboard, wood,
and glass. Whereas, organic, undifferentiated, explosive, chemical and contaminated
waste are captured in their own, separately identified containers. At scheduled intervals,
or when called, the waste management company sends a vehicle to pick up the
compactors, typically dropping off empty ones at the same time.
This method of waste collection is flawed on different levels. First, without a built-in
mechanism to gauge the fullness of a compactor, the scheduled pickups may occur when
the compactors are only half or partially full. Conversely, if compactors fill up prior to a
scheduled pickup, the manufacturer/business is now left without the ability to manage
and store additional waste in the interim of waiting for the next pickup. Should the
manufacturer/business place a call to the waste management company for an
unscheduled pickup, this obviously creates additional inefficiencies and waste with
![Page 9: R4MONITORING V1.7 · The number of waste compactors, containers, carriers, transport vehicles, storage and sorting areas grows together with the need to reduce waste and increase](https://reader035.fdocuments.us/reader035/viewer/2022063004/5f8a87840e2dbe77681274c5/html5/thumbnails/9.jpg)
9
possible reroutes and logistical problems. These flaws in the system create inefficiencies
that result in the expenditure of additional transportation resources, leading to more
pollutants in the environment, and increased costs; all adding up to less sustainability.
It is an unfortunate irony that the very waste collection system designed to control waste,
reduce pollutants and increase recycling is often the catalyst for exactly the opposite.
Waste – whether it is material, gas, excess inventory etc. - is the enemy of efficiency and
effectiveness. There is more pressure now than ever in the supply chain, for buyers,
manufacturers and end users, to minimize waste in operations, to reduce costs, increase
revenue, manage resource scarcity and reduce the environmental impact. Companies
that are capable of limiting waste improve their resilience and competitiveness, while
enhancing corporate social responsibility profiles. Businesses that fail to effectively
manage waste, run the risk of their core operations becoming far less sustainable, while
also impacting relationships with other companies, who may choose not to work with
organizations who fail to manage excess waste, as this can negatively impact their supply
chain and values downgrading their reputation.
In order to reduce waste in the supply chain, businesses must look at their product or
service and identify more efficient ways to perform at maximum sustainability levels.
Suppliers in the waste management industry who are able to offer businesses innovative
ways to improve efficiency and maximize sustainability will find they not only have a
competitive edge, but they are also transferring this competitive edge onto their clients. 1.3 THE PROBLEM WITH INEFFICIENT LOGISTICS The number of waste compactors, containers, carriers, transport vehicles, storage and
sorting areas grows together with the need to reduce waste and increase recycling. Based
on the existing inefficient workflow in the waste collection and transport industry, it is easy
to understand how waste management is becoming an increasingly high cost item in the
budget of most companies.
![Page 10: R4MONITORING V1.7 · The number of waste compactors, containers, carriers, transport vehicles, storage and sorting areas grows together with the need to reduce waste and increase](https://reader035.fdocuments.us/reader035/viewer/2022063004/5f8a87840e2dbe77681274c5/html5/thumbnails/10.jpg)
10
The contradiction of an inefficient waste collection and recycling system creating more
pollution is one that can be solved through the optimization of the primary issue in the
management of waste and materials: logistics. However, this optimization is not easy to
achieve, particulary when you consider a few simple, but well-known problems:
- Initial outlay of capital – Developing an efficient logistical system requires a
finanancial investment in procedures and infrastructure that is often very onerous in
relation to the volume of business managed.
- Culture of avoidance – It is often the case that certain somehwat hidden or less
visible cost items are not considered as a crucial problem that requires a solution.
- Lack of available technology – Many companies do not have access to, or the
ability to evaluate and govern new technologies that may be able to reduce
management and expense costs.
- Lack of adequate tax incentives – Often companies are motivated into action by
external factors like tax incentives.
- Information disconnect – The limited technical knowledge of the sector by financial
institutions, who may have a difficult time interpreting technological information and
applying it accurately to the business and financial plans of complex projects,
resulting in a lack of proper assessment of the potential ROI.
- Lack of confidence – The fear of not receiving a return on investment when investing
in waste collection.
These factors have contributed to an outdated approach as it relates to the management
of waste logistics, leaving the system in need of an efficiency overhaul like R4MONITORING provides.
Our Team at R4MONITORING has been involved in the development of energy
efficiency, structural and procedural projects for over 30 years, with specific expertise in
the waste and recycled materials sector. This experience has provided the foundation for
the series of activities, companies and services designed to support players operating in
![Page 11: R4MONITORING V1.7 · The number of waste compactors, containers, carriers, transport vehicles, storage and sorting areas grows together with the need to reduce waste and increase](https://reader035.fdocuments.us/reader035/viewer/2022063004/5f8a87840e2dbe77681274c5/html5/thumbnails/11.jpg)

this sector. Today, R4MONITORING represents the most efficient blockchain-based
system dedicated to the waste collection and transportation industry.
1.4 MARKET ANALYSIS – A GLOBAL LOOK AT THE PROBLEM OF WASTE Today the global waste disposal market is worth 250 billion euros (225 billion USD)
estimates project it could reach 330 billion euros (374 billion USD) by 2030.
According to the study, “What a Waste: A Global Review of Solid Waste Management,”1 completed by World Bank’s Urban Development team, solid waste,
specifically, Municipal Solid Waste, (MSW) is growing at a faster rate than the worldwide
polulation is growing. Perhaps an even more startling fact – MSW is growing faster than
we can recycle it and is predicted to increase by triple the current rate by the year 2100.2 The report goes on to predict that by the year 2025, MSW will likely increase to a
staggering 2.2 billion tons annually because of anticipated population growth in urban
areas. An amount that is nearly double the current amount. The problem is reaching epic

![Page 12: R4MONITORING V1.7 · The number of waste compactors, containers, carriers, transport vehicles, storage and sorting areas grows together with the need to reduce waste and increase](https://reader035.fdocuments.us/reader035/viewer/2022063004/5f8a87840e2dbe77681274c5/html5/thumbnails/12.jpg)

proportions and is even more acute in developing countries, who are generating more
and more MSW. To cope with the massive amounts of MSW generated, more incinerators
are being built, more trucks put on the road to transport waste to landfills; essentially more
processes that increase air pollution and green-house gas emissions into the atmosphere
are being added to the equation in response to the global crisis of waste. Improving the
process of managing solid waste is becoming an urgent issue and is recognized by local,
national, and international leaders as one of the most pressing issues in our world today.
And while many countries and cities are leading the way by establishing programs that
reduce waste and increase recyclables, the waste management process varies across
the globe, with even more varied outcomes. In higher income countries for example, the
most common methods of waste management are landfilling and thermal treatment of
waste. Whereas, in lower to middle income countries, MSW is often disposed of in open
dumps. 3
The impact of such practices, as well as the impact of uncollected waste, is not merely a
financial one. Uncollected waste is a breeding ground for disease and can disturb the
balance of the surrounding ecosystem in a myriad of ways, making it even more
imperative to institute systemic changes improving the waste management system world-
wide.
![Page 13: R4MONITORING V1.7 · The number of waste compactors, containers, carriers, transport vehicles, storage and sorting areas grows together with the need to reduce waste and increase](https://reader035.fdocuments.us/reader035/viewer/2022063004/5f8a87840e2dbe77681274c5/html5/thumbnails/13.jpg)
13
However, it is fair to say that solid-waste management has become one of the greatest
costs to municipal budgets.
*As illustrated in the tables above and below, the astronomical costs globally are projected to rise even higher in the next decade.
![Page 14: R4MONITORING V1.7 · The number of waste compactors, containers, carriers, transport vehicles, storage and sorting areas grows together with the need to reduce waste and increase](https://reader035.fdocuments.us/reader035/viewer/2022063004/5f8a87840e2dbe77681274c5/html5/thumbnails/14.jpg)
14
Ideally, an integrated solid waste management (ISWM) approach to the problem of solid
waste collection, transport and disposal would involve a comprehensive plan of careful
selection and sustained application of appropriate technology, working conditions, and
establishment of a ‘social license’ between the community and designated waste
management authorities (most commonly local government). ISWM should be driven by
clear objectives and is based on the hierarchy of waste management: reduce, reuse, recycle and recovery. 4 (as illustrated on the following page.)

industry, R4MONITORING technology provides the dual benefit of protecting our planet,
by reducing collateral pollution resulting from an inefficient logistics process, and
decreasing operational costs associated with these same inefficiencies.
The bottom line – R4MONITORING is a system of sophisticated sensors that provide real-time data on the status of waste compactors. The current system of scheduled
intervals for waste collection and for the maintenance of waste compactors is obsolete
and does not provide for variants that would allow collection and maintenance to be
scheduled efficiently. Less trucks on the road collecting waste or maintaining partially full
compactors translates into tangible economic returns for investors, beneficiaries and the
industry as a whole, while simultaneously enhancing environmental sustainability.
Thanks to blockchain technology we can now monitor and certify these savings and redistribute their value amongst the users of the platform as a tangible Return of Investment (ROI).
Our platform allows private or institutional investors to engage in a productive dialogue
with companies in the waste sector, who specialize in waste management, or companies
who simply wish to reduce their internal waste management costs. To facilitate
implementation of the R4MONITORING platform, we have opted to follow the
tokenization principle of investment, which allows companies to negotiate the level of
intervention they choose directly with investors; a principle
that provides opportunities to acquire the financial backing necessary that may otherwise
be unavailable via traditional methods.
The savings derived from the intervention are shared between the investors who made
the investment and the subsequent requalification process possible, and the beneficiary;
in this case the waste producer or the logistics company. Savings are tokenized and can
be utilized to offset future waste costs or simply to realize a monetary return of investment
while the beneficiary will recognize a reduction in their waste management costs.
![Page 16: R4MONITORING V1.7 · The number of waste compactors, containers, carriers, transport vehicles, storage and sorting areas grows together with the need to reduce waste and increase](https://reader035.fdocuments.us/reader035/viewer/2022063004/5f8a87840e2dbe77681274c5/html5/thumbnails/16.jpg)

2.1 BASE TECHNOLOGY Our search for solutions to the inefficiencies in the waste management system began with
a study supported and recognized by the Italian Ministry of the Economy, which has
enabled us to precisely quantify the important ecological and economical savings for each
ton of waste managed by our customers. Up to 40% savings on route reduction for transport vehicles and compactors have been achieved on a consistent basis as a result of the R4MONITORING system. These savings have been certified based on the
system being installed on more than 1,000 units distributed on the Italian territory, the site
of the first product development test.
Using AI technology, big data analysis, and GPS / GPRS control, R4MONITORING
provides real time tracking, monitoring and remote management of waste collection
devices. The R4M hardware installed in the compactor communicates directly with the
compactor's functioning systems and transmits the data wirelessly to our cloud-based
platform.
This provides for a remotely-controlled operation, in which each compactor's location is
identified on a map in real time, as well as its functioning status. The system is capable
of identifying optimal times for collection, based on whether the unit is full to its capacity,
and can predict the need for routine, or out of the ordinary maintenance.
The R4M system also features a series of alerts and alarm systems, making it possible
to see, in real time, the operating status of each compactor. The system will automatically
alert the maintenance department should an issue arise, or if it requires technical
maintenance in the event of a breakdown.
*R4 is proposed on the market to optimize the transport of waste. Through the use of detection sensors positioned on waste collection containers, the R4 Software avoids empty trips or trips with only partially loaded containers, resulting in a 40% reduction in costs and a 30% reduction in emissions.
![Page 17: R4MONITORING V1.7 · The number of waste compactors, containers, carriers, transport vehicles, storage and sorting areas grows together with the need to reduce waste and increase](https://reader035.fdocuments.us/reader035/viewer/2022063004/5f8a87840e2dbe77681274c5/html5/thumbnails/17.jpg)
17
2.2 SYSTEM ADVANTAGES - Real-time logistics information - The ability to access logistical and functional
information of each unit at any given time, allows participants and operators to
strategically plan waste collection pickups and compactor maintenance, reducing
system redundancies and greatly increasing logistical efficiencies.
- Early intervention - It cannot be overstated that being able to intervene quickly when
a compactor breaks down or requires maintenance so that it will not break down, can
prevent interruptions in the entire waste collection and disposal chain and speed up
the recycling process.
- Enhanced safety - Another incredible advantage of the R4M system is that it
improves operator safety. Customizable alarms allow the system to continuously
monitor the compactor's operating status, anticipating and ultimately preventing,
potential failures that may not only cause delays in disposal times, but could also put
the health and safety of workers at risk.
![Page 18: R4MONITORING V1.7 · The number of waste compactors, containers, carriers, transport vehicles, storage and sorting areas grows together with the need to reduce waste and increase](https://reader035.fdocuments.us/reader035/viewer/2022063004/5f8a87840e2dbe77681274c5/html5/thumbnails/18.jpg)
18
*One of the main spending factors of this market is logistics of waste transport. Means of transport that daily they load, transport and discharge waste: a considerable cost management that reaches up to 70% of the total costs.
2.3 INVESTORS, LOGISTICS, PRODUCERS
The R4MONITORING platform brings together all stakeholders in the waste supply chain: Producers of Waste – Businesses and manufacturers who uses waste management
companies to handle their waste production with roll-off waste compactors. Amongst
these Producers, there may be certain businesses who handle their own waste
management directly and that therefore can also be classified as a Waste Management
Company.
![Page 19: R4MONITORING V1.7 · The number of waste compactors, containers, carriers, transport vehicles, storage and sorting areas grows together with the need to reduce waste and increase](https://reader035.fdocuments.us/reader035/viewer/2022063004/5f8a87840e2dbe77681274c5/html5/thumbnails/19.jpg)
19
Waste Management Companies – Businesses with transport fleets and material sorting,
recycling and recovery activities who serve the Producers of Waste. These Companies,
actively involved in distributing, providing and maintaining waste compactors and waste
vehicles are the ones that gain tangible savings through increased efficiency provided by
the R4M platform.
Investors – Institutional or private entities and individuals who access the auction
mechanism through the R4MONITORING platform, to purchase the future savings
generated by efficiency projects at the Waste Management Companies level. The
quantity of tokens held will be used to establish priority of access to new efficiency
projects. Energy savings generated by third parties can be used to offset or eliminate their
own waste management costs. *At R4Monitoring, we want to unite companies that need to dispose of waste and investors who want to enter this sector. Thus, was born R4M, the digital currency that grows with the actual savings from companies and is exchanged through the contribution of investors. Thanks to R4M Token, every investor will be able to accumulate earnings or use the token to pay their own waste management costs.
![Page 20: R4MONITORING V1.7 · The number of waste compactors, containers, carriers, transport vehicles, storage and sorting areas grows together with the need to reduce waste and increase](https://reader035.fdocuments.us/reader035/viewer/2022063004/5f8a87840e2dbe77681274c5/html5/thumbnails/20.jpg)

3. R4M TOKEN - HOW IT WORKS: THE ROLE OF BLOCKCHAIN, TOKENIZATION AND THE WASTE PERFORMANCE SMART CONTRACT
The R4M system is currently available and could be easily implemented by any waste
management company who would immediately start realizing savings and increased
efficiencies. However, thanks to blockchain based technology and our own
cryptocurrency, we will not only be revolutionizing the waste collection industry by vastly
improving efficiencies, but we will also be creating wealth and tangible returns for our
investors and adopters.
Blockchain – As previously discussed, several factors present barriers to the development of efficiency
projects - technological, financing and cultural. To overcome these barriers, a Waste
Management Company, or a Waste Producer will use the R4MONITORING platform to
obtain the necessary funds to complete the project development, in exchange for sharing
a portion of the savings generated, in total safety, thanks to the solid and decentralized
blockchain structure.
The role of the blockchain is fundamental, because it is a transparent system that
guarantees the accuracy and the safety of the savings data obtained. The data that every
remote monitoring system transmits is validated and certified by the blockchain, resulting
in the unequivocal guarantee that the savings obtained at a particular point in time are
accurate, genuine and readily accessible in the investors profile.
Tokenization – To improve the financing and capital access cycle, R4MONITORING has created the
R4M Token, the token dedicated to the optimization of waste logistics. The innovative
tokenization model has been clarified by the European regulator. It is structured as a
reward-based crowdfunding, where Investors are rewarded with energy savings that they
can store, sell or use to offset their waste management costs. The savings create a

contractual mechanism between companies that want to improve the efficiency of their
processes and the investor community coordinated by the R4MONITORING platform.
Thanks to the advanced technology of our platform, we are able to determine a baseline
and a subsequent resource saving quotient for a specific unit with the R4M system
installed. Based on this parameter, each user can monitor his energy savings and,
consequently, quantify the associated economic value. From this quantification comes
the true idea of the R4M Token, our cryptocurrency token, linked to the real and certified
value of energy efficiency obtained with the R4M system.
Waste Performance Smart Contract – The R4MONITORING platform allows participants to experience energy savings through
the implementation of the Waste Performance Smart Contract, which becomes a tangible
asset in the hands of token holders, who can decide to sell, exchange or use them to
reduce their own internal waste management costs, while improving their operations.
Through smart contracts, blockchain technology is used to certify savings obtained by the
Waste Management Companies thanks to the R4M platform. The Waste Performance
Smart Contract allows the Waste Management Companies to benefit of third-party
investments for the upgrade of their systems and implementation of the R4M technology
while realizing efficiency and cost savings. The Contract binds the Waste Management
Companies to share a portion of their realized savings with the Investors for 5 years,
therefore providing a tangible ROI for the Investors and an increase of the value of the
tokens. Furthermore, 1% of the energy savings obtained thanks to the R4M platform and
certified by the Waste Performance Smart Contracts are distributed amongst all
R4MONITORING Investors, therefore increasing the value of their tokens.
After 5 years, the Waste Management Company starts realizing 100% of the savings
generated by the R4M system.
![Page 22: R4MONITORING V1.7 · The number of waste compactors, containers, carriers, transport vehicles, storage and sorting areas grows together with the need to reduce waste and increase](https://reader035.fdocuments.us/reader035/viewer/2022063004/5f8a87840e2dbe77681274c5/html5/thumbnails/22.jpg)

3.1 R4M Token - HOW IT WORKS Company X, a leader in waste management runs a waste collection and transportation
business. With dozens of vehicles and hundreds of waste compactors deployed over a
large geographic area serves numerous clients that keep their compactors and waste
management capabilities at capacity. The Management at Company X realizes that
several inefficiencies are affecting their bottom line; due to inefficient collections and
maintenance of the deployed compactors, increasing maintenance costs (of transport
vehicles and compactors), as well as increased Human Resources costs; their profitability
is reducing over time and affecting the Company's bottom line.
The Management at Company X hears of the innovative R4M solution and decides to test
it. They create an account and log in their production and technical data. Shortly after,
R4M contacts Company X to inform them that the project has been fully funded and that
the upgrade of their system and deployment of the R4M platform is about to start. From
that moment on, Company X will immediately start realizing economical, tangible gains
due to increased efficiency in their operations.
Below Is a summary of how this works.
Once Company X creates a profile and logs in its technical data the R4MONITORING
Team reviews the project requests and develops an implementation plan. The Team
analyzes the technical waste management structure of the beneficiary and provides an
approach to improve its performance by optimizing logistics. Specifically:
- Each project is initially assessed to determine logistical costs, including fuel costs and
other costs associated with the transport of waste and equipment therefore
establishing the investment requirement.
![Page 23: R4MONITORING V1.7 · The number of waste compactors, containers, carriers, transport vehicles, storage and sorting areas grows together with the need to reduce waste and increase](https://reader035.fdocuments.us/reader035/viewer/2022063004/5f8a87840e2dbe77681274c5/html5/thumbnails/23.jpg)
23
- The current vehicles and compactors fleet is evaluated, analyzed and compared
against current and future needs. Consequently, the need for adding or changing units
of the fleet is also analyzed.
- Each unit is assessed to establish a baseline of maintenance and operational cost
associated with wear and maintenance status.
- With the proposed implementation plan ready, the Beneficiary (i.e., Waste
Management Company, Company X in this case) enters into a Waste Management
Smart Contract with R4MONITORING. Thanks to the contract, 100% of the capital
needed for the implementation of the upgrades is covered with the R4M Token by our
investors.
- The R4M remote monitoring sensors, which are encased in a rugged shell, are
installed within key waste collection devices, such as compactors and transport
vehicles.
- As part of the implementation, our Team will provide comprehensive training on the
use of the system and ensure that Company X is fully integrated on the R4M platform.
- The R4M platform also provides an accurate maintenance plan based on the data
collected by the remote monitoring equipment, therefore providing savings on the
maintenance of the waste compactors and vehicles.
For the entire duration of the Waste Management Smart Contract, the Beneficiary realizes
economical gains in the form of increased efficiency, i.e., less cost for running its
operation. These savings are certified by the blockchain and in part transferred to the
R4MONITORING platform, providing an ROI for the Investors. the ROI Is tokenized being
in the form of R4M Tokens, which may be used by the Investors to purchase efficiency
enhancement services, re-used for new projects or sold if they choose to do so. At the
end of the contract, the Beneficiary will start realizing 100% of the savings thanks to an
efficient, modern structure that will guarantee efficiency for years to come.
Candidate projects will be available for review on the R4M platform. Each energy
efficiency project will be advertised providing (at a minimum) the following information:
![Page 24: R4MONITORING V1.7 · The number of waste compactors, containers, carriers, transport vehicles, storage and sorting areas grows together with the need to reduce waste and increase](https://reader035.fdocuments.us/reader035/viewer/2022063004/5f8a87840e2dbe77681274c5/html5/thumbnails/24.jpg)

1. Costs.
2. The percentage of savings shared with Investors through the Waste Performance
Smart Contract.
3. The duration of the Waste Performance Smart Contract.
4. The amount of savings generated.
5. The duration of the auction period.
6. The intrinsic performance of the operation.
In this way every investor in possession of R4M Token can participate in these tenders
to invest in Waste Performance Smart Contracts and thus accumulate the savings
obtained. Investors will have the right to access the auctions to support efficiency projects,
in return for the savings generated. As previously stated, they will also be able to decide
whether to use the earned tokens to reduce their waste management costs, or to sell it.
The order of access to new efficiency projects and the consequent collection of the related
savings will directly correlate to the number of tokens held by the investor.
It is expected, based on the data collected on the 1,000+ units already installed, that a
typical project can generate up to 40% cost savings, with a return for the investor of up to
20% on a yearly basis for the 5-year duration of the Waste Performance Smart Contract.
Given the limited number of tokens and the increase in value directly correlated to the
certified savings it is expected that the R4M Token should rapidly appreciate in value.
Two additional strategies, consisting of a buyback program and the distribution amongst
all of the investors of a portion of the savings obtained through the platform will keep
increasing the appreciation of the tokens.
4. WHAT WE HAVE ACHIEVED SO FAR Starting in 2013, the R4M Team, through parent companies tenec and GEMAST Green
Project, designed and developed logistics optimization actions for over 300 companies.
![Page 25: R4MONITORING V1.7 · The number of waste compactors, containers, carriers, transport vehicles, storage and sorting areas grows together with the need to reduce waste and increase](https://reader035.fdocuments.us/reader035/viewer/2022063004/5f8a87840e2dbe77681274c5/html5/thumbnails/25.jpg)

A significant example is one that involved the introduction of modern logistics
management logics, through an analysis platform linked to the IoT R4 monitoring devices
of an Italian waste management company. The company has a fleet of about 600
compactors for waste and recycled material. As with any intervention, the project involved
the installation of the system on a sample of 30 compactors, and the consequent
collection of real data for a period of 3 months. Thanks to the analysis of the collected
data, it was possible to define the most appropriate settings with respect to the client's
business with the following results.

probability of a collapse of the R4M prices, as often happens with new tokens. Tokens
assigned to the Reserve Fund, the Advisors, the Team and the Friends and Family event
will be blocked for 12 months.

5.2 BUYBACK PROGRAM
R4MONITORING continuously applies a scheduled token repurchase system on the
listed market. This means that, as savings are realized in the form of a Waste
Performance Smart Contract, XXXX of the value saved, is used to buy back R4M tokens
on the market. In this way, the continuous demand decreases the available number of
R4M tokens, i.e., the only tools that currently allow participation in profitable investments
linked to the optimization of waste logistics, eliminating the frictions present in the market.
Keeping R4M token in your wallet, therefore, will always be more convenient than selling
to monetize them. In doing so, you can increase the value of your position because the
proceeds of part of the efficiency, will be used for the R4MONITORING buyback program.
6. COMPANIES The R4MONITORING project began as a GEMAST
Green Project, a branch of GEMAST, in April 2013 with
an initial startup investment by GEMAST of
approximately €200,000.00 ($276,000.00). GEMAST is
an international growth equity and management
consulting firm, with strong expertise and experience in renewable energy and the waste
management industry.
Following this first initial investment, an intense phase of research and development was
launched, with the collaboration of many players operating in the Italian waste
management market. This initial phase of the project was managed through the
development of the first IoT module, which allowed for testing in the field of over 200
installations, providing a valuable opportunity to test for virtually every potential problem
that might be encountered.
The project and the hardware and software products connected to the IoT module evolved
until April 2015; at that time GEMAST spearheaded the incorporation of a new, dedicated
![Page 30: R4MONITORING V1.7 · The number of waste compactors, containers, carriers, transport vehicles, storage and sorting areas grows together with the need to reduce waste and increase](https://reader035.fdocuments.us/reader035/viewer/2022063004/5f8a87840e2dbe77681274c5/html5/thumbnails/30.jpg)

company for the distribution, installation and maintenance
of the R4M system; the company, Technology and Ecology
srl (tenec) was soon certified by the Italian Ministry of
Economic Development as an Innovative Startup.
Under the control and supervision of GEMAST, tenec further develops and tests the R4M
system. From April 2015 to December 2017, in the wake of the success achieved with
the first version of the system, a second phase of research and development was
launched, creating the second generation of the IOT module and sensors. The testing on
this phase lasted nearly two years and was financed by GEMAST with almost
€500,000.00 ($600,000.00). The results translated into installing over 600 units over the
course of 4 months.
With the Italian market well under development with tenec, GEMAST
decided to partner up with AitherCO2, an international organization
operating in commodity trading, to establish a new standalone
company totally focused on the overall international market, R4 srl,
owner of the R4MONITORING system and platform. Shortly after
inception, R4 also obtained the certification as an Innovative Startup by
the Italian Ministry of Economic Development.
With the system and platform fully operational, R4MONITORING, supported by GEMAST,
AitherCO2, tenec and additional key industry players is ready to revolutionize the waste collection and transportation business, using cutting edge IOT technology, supported by the most advanced AI systems and sensors, all made possible by blockchain driven implementations and cryptocurrency economic exchanges. Our goal is to
transform the waste collection industry by increasing
efficiencies, reducing costs and dramatically improving environmental health while
creating wealth for our Investors and adopters.

9. CONCLUSION Digital transformation is increasingly connected to the theme of DISRUPTIVE
INNOVATION.
A company is disruptive when it breaks with the past, using technological innovation to
create products and/or services, capable of immediately obtaining the consent of a large
audience, making a major impact on the industry. The breaking point lies in the change
of strategy: instead of working on the consolidated habits of people and on the
progressive improvement of existing products and services, we use the creativity and
imagination of designing services and products that do not yet have a demand.
The premise of self-disruption is the abandonment of a business that has become
obsolete. The common denominator, instead, is digital technology, which helps
companies to renew and manage (that is to invent, analyze, plan, test, implement, deliver,
![Page 33: R4MONITORING V1.7 · The number of waste compactors, containers, carriers, transport vehicles, storage and sorting areas grows together with the need to reduce waste and increase](https://reader035.fdocuments.us/reader035/viewer/2022063004/5f8a87840e2dbe77681274c5/html5/thumbnails/33.jpg)

partners, customers, consumers.
Thanks to a system based on an economical incentive to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and
Recover for the entire waste management chain, we will be able to provide logistics
optimization technology at no cost to the users. A blockchain derived approach will certify
the entire waste management chain, ensuring transparency and rewards for the players
within the platform. We aim at offering the R4MONITORING solution at no cost to the
industry: no installation costs thanks to a waste management chain that sustains itself
creating wealth for the players within the system while benefitting the Earth with less
uncollected, mismanaged and un-recycled waste.
