Becoming a mom for the first time can be a bit
overwhelming. No joke – there’s a lot to learn. So
imagine having your own personal nurse.
Nurse-Family Partnership can make that happen.
First-time moms who are less than 29 weeks
pregnant, meet income requirements, live in a service
area are eligible for free help from a personal nurse
who will come to your home to offer advice, support
and a good laugh when you need it most through
your pregnancy and until your baby is 2 years old.
If you wish to be referred to the Nurse-Family
Partnership Program, please contact our office at
970.565.4291. This program is offered through the
Montezuma County Public Health Department.
Nurse-Family Partnership is a non-profit that
transforms the first thousand days of life for babies
born to moms living in poverty across the United
States. Beginning during pregnancy, and until the
child is two, nurses visit moms at home to educate
them on parenting, share resources, and perform
health checks.
Congrats on your New Addition!
