Mohd. Nasir from the Department of Law,

AMU , Aligarh held the first session on the

topic "Women Empowerment in CSR &

ISR," that is Corporate/ Institutional and

Social Responsibility for Academic

Leadership. He said that at large women are

good for business specially executive-level

and the importance of corporate sustainability lies individual and corporate social

responsibility. In the world order, there is more pressure from various affairs to pursue more

socially responsible behavior of the individuals. Mr. Nasir shared the data that women have

been making big waves in the world of business.

The lectures were held on issues i. e.

women in higher education, women in nature

conservation, women in education, and

perspectives on gender, gender justice, and

governance issues.Dr. FaizaAbbasi spoke on

women in nature conservation and explained the

term'Eco-criticism as the study of the

relationship between literature and the physical

environment. Eco-criticism is the study of literature and the environment from an

interdisciplinary point of view, whereliterature scholars analyze texts that illustrate

environmental concerns and examine the various ways literature treats the subject of nature.lt

is an intentionally broad approach that is known by a number of other designations, including

green (cultural) studies, ecopoetics, and environmental literary criticism. Earth has seen ages,

civilizations emerging and dying,

bombings and disasters-it still stays and

the same has been the case with women.
