Directed several multi-channel contracts over 3 sites in a total 320k sq ft warehousing area with 45 retaildelivery vehicles and 180 permanent staff. Products ranged though couture fashion, fine wines &beverages, ambient food, medical supplies and art & crafts. Increased turnover from £7.5m to £12m withfull budgetary responsibility. Primary customer interface for Harvey Nichols, Whistles, Mint Velvet,Atterley Road and The Gap transport and several other contracts.
Introduced then refined e fulfilment processes to support the HN's entry, then expansion, intoonline shopping – integrating carrier solutions, reverse logistics then recruiting and managing anonline customer service team. Utilised this experience to implement similar processes into a rangeof new and existing customers.
Established high levels of customer confidence by repeatedly exceeding SLA's whilst introducinga range of value adding services, enabling customers to dispense with expensive and less flexiblethird party solutions, such as establishing in-house bespoke hamper packing for HN.
Achieved up to 28% yoy reductions in efulfilment activity costs through staff engagement inmanaging continuous daily process improvements.
Designed effective pro tem solutions to manage up to 1000% uplifts in customers efulfilmentactivity during sale promotion periods.
Framed and conducted negotiations on several Logistics Service contracts including a 5 yearextension to the HN contract in Year 1 and successfully renewing the contract in Year 10
