REVERSE ResultsWith regular use, the REVERSE Regimen reveals a smoother, bright-er, even-toned complexion; improvement is often experienced with the first use. For some people, one cycle of the REVERSE Regimen is sufficient to restore the brightness of their skin. For significant hyper-pigmentation, it may take 2-6 months before maximum even-ness of skin color is achieved. Omit UVA/UVB SPF 15 Sunscreen in the evening. If redness and/or irritation occur, take a break from the regimen for 2-3 days. During this time, we recommend using gentle, redness-reducing products such as the SootHE line.

SupplEmEnt YouR REgimEn

If dryness occurs, use a moisturizer after applying REVERSE Skin Lightening Treatment. We recommend ESSEntiAlS Moisturize with Melaslow™ or SootHE Sensitive Skin Treatment.

To even and protect your complexion, try EnHAnCEmEntS Mineral Peptides SPF 20.

To remove eye makeup and revitalize and firm the eye area, try Anti-AgE Eye Cloths.

To maximize controlled exfoliation and boost results, use EnHAnCEmEntS Micro-Dermabrasion Paste 1-3 times per week in place of REVERSE Deep Exfoliating Wash.

Frequently Asked QuestionsDo I need to use all the steps in REVERSE Regimen to get results?Yes, each step of the REVERSE Regimen builds upon the last to treat every aspect of uneven skin tone and patch areas of dark pigmentation through exfoliation, lightening with the medicine hydroquinone, brightening with retinol, and protecting with a zinc-based broad-spectrum sunscreen. Skipping any one of these steps can minimize results.

Why use the REVERSE Regimen over my entire face?We developed the REVERSE Regimen as a full-face solution because what you see on the surface is not the full story. In fact, visible brown spots on the skin’s surface indicate more damage below. Furthermore, using pigmentation-lightening products over the entire face avoids the “halo effect,” white rings around dark spots, resulting from only applying the products on the spots that you see. To achieve an even-toned color over the entire face, these products must be used over the entire face.

Can the REVERSE Regimen be used on all skin types and ethnicities?REVERSE contains 2% hydroquinone, which lightens only abnormal pigmentation, allowing the natural skin tone to be revealed. Products in the REVERSE Regimen are oil-free and do not clog pores—excellent for acne-prone skin as it lightens post-acne dark marks. However, the REVERSE Regimen is not recommended for extremely sensitive skin. Please visit the Solution Tool for a customized routine.

Can I use the REVERSE Regimen if I’m pregnant or nursing?We suggest that you do not use the REVERSE Regimen during these times. You may use the Anti-AgE or SootHE Regimen or any EnHAnCEmEntS or ESSEntiAlS skincare products.

Always wear UVA/UVB sunscreen and do not sunbathe. A single day of unprotected sun exposure can virtually undo months of treatment.

Use the REVERSE Regimen until your skin is bright and even-toned, usually 2-6 months, then transition to the Anti-AgE pluS Regimen.

Hydroquinone can stain fingernails so use ESSEntiAlS Gauze to apply toner and wash hands after use.
