EV Central: FAQs

Can my significant other receive this incentive?- No, currently this program is only for National Grid employees, and an employee’s

name must on the proof of purchase or lease agreement.

Are the incentives considered taxable wages?- Incentive payments are considered taxable wages and are taxed at supplemental

federal and state withholding rates.

How will I receive my National Grid incentive?- The incentive will be provided to you via your National Grid paycheck.

How long do I have from after I buy my vehicle or approved smart home tech to when I need to apply for the incentive?- You must submit your required documentation within 30 days of purchase. However,

we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

Can I receive more than one incentive for an EV?- No, only one incentive is available per product per employee.
