ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROGRAMSWe have a range of programs to improve your English and meet the English language requirements for entry into QUT.

General English:General English is a great way to improve your English for school, work or everyday life or if you want to study at QUT but your IELTS score is below 5.0. You will learn the core skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening while developing the confidence to communicate fluently in English with other people.

English for Academic Purposes (EAP): English for Academic Purposes provides a direct pathway into Foundation, Diploma and degree programs. You will learn practical skills such as note-taking strategies, how to conduct research, writing essays and reports, referencing, and giving presentations.
