What we will cover

This will be a cut and dry presentation of all the changes that have happened in Quosal Sell from the last release in November.

Some UI Changes

• We’ve added a navbar to help with getting around inside of Salesforce.

• Initial Setup and Prepare Content now have toolbar menus instead of a button list.

GreatAmerica Leasing

• We've added GreatAmerica leasing as an option inside of Quosal Sell. Let’s take a look.

Quote – Prepare Content (1 of 3)

• We have changed the buttons in the grid to be a tool bar at the top of the grid.• Cost Modifiers were not working correctly and have been fixed.• Mass Update was not working with Price Modifier and Override Price.• Protected Items are now read only when displayed in Quosal Sell.• Net Margin has been replaced with Gross Margin Amount in the quote header.• If you have renamed a column in Create, it now appears that way in the Sell

content grid.

Quote – Prepare Content (2 of 3)

• The Tab Information screen has been updated to handle tab level price modifiers, such as Gross Margin, Markup, and List Price discounts.

• The M50 auto price modifier has been removed when there are no pricing options set.

• Any boolean field has the new auto update checkbox in the workspace, including custom bools.

• Packages were adding double to margin calculations.• Visual Quotes now have Quantity Popups

Quote – Prepare Content (3 of 3)

• You can no longer directly edit the package header price. This is always calculated.• You can no longer include any other package lines when creating a new package in

the grid.• Quantity Breaks will now properly refresh in the grid when you change the

quantity of those items.• Package Costs were incorrectly calculating.• We have darkened labels inside of Quosal Sell to help with readability.

SuccessList

• Fractional Dates are now displayed in terms of Hours / Minutes and Seconds.

• Historical Activities were not correctly adding to ConnectWise. They will now work.

• We added the ability to do an Email track for Success Tracks.

• For long time users of Quosal Create, we added some logic to help fix problems with dates that were not set correctly. The primary example was Delivered date, which we can get from the Quote Audit trail.

Quote Demands

• Quote Demands were not properly calculating extended price, and will now do so.

Quote – Initial Setup

• We have changed the buttons in the panel to be a tool bar at the top of the panel.

• We added an option where you can check for an order porter download on a quote without waiting for the app server to process it.

• Admins have some research buttons for the Success List and Quote Caching. Standard users will not see this.

Etilize

• Etilize Item notes now have formatting rules that you can assign in admin for Sell.

• Item Notes will no longer have weird justification and font problems.

• Manufacturer Part Numbers are now correctly getting stripped from descriptions as well as Item Notes.

• D&H was not working from Etilize attachments, even though it would display.

Item Edit Screen

• Warehouse and source were not always getting set correctly from the Etilize Search selection when nothing was selected. It now defaults.

• MSRP (Suggested Price) was getting overwritten to 0 from sources that had no MSRP value.

• Direct Manufacturer Part Number Entry was doing a partial match when hitting the cloud button. It now does a full match.

• Delete will now give a confirmation dialog.

Salesforce Integration

• Automated Login (also known as Universal Login) was not handling new users properly and creating them. It was presenting the Quosal Login screen the first time.

• We provide a Quosal specific quick menu for navigation while in Salesforce.

• We fixed problems that existed with Custom Field Mappings.• You can now enable opportunity formatting for Salesforce.

ConnectWise Integration

• Tax Codes now come in from the Site record.• If there is no tax code on the site, we use the Financing

section for the tax code.• Opportunities will now use the Green Circle recycle option if

the quote has been set up correctly for it.• If you create an opportunity after uploading to order

porter, it will upload that opportunity to order porter at that point.

Quote – Import Quotes

• After importing a Dell Quote, totals were not recalculated on the screen. They were updated when publishing a document or navigating anywhere on the quote.

• Some Dell Quotes were not importing notes properly.• Some HP iQuote imports were bringing in too much

information into the Long Description and exploding Quosal.

Quote – Universal Copy Paste (Excel)

• Item notes now import correctly with RTF encoding.• Price Modifiers were not getting properly mapped.• The Include Headers checkbox will now be remembered

when you save a set.• Saved Mappings can now be deleted.

Order Porter Wins

• Downloading Order Porters from Sell were causing problems with the following data:– Tax Codes were getting erased– If you created the opportunity after uploading,

it would get erased– Payment Records were not downloading– It would forget the delivered date– Packages would get mangled

Product Searches

• You can now filter on Saved Packages when performing searches on products.

• Item Notes were not encoding to RTF from CRM product searches causing some print issues.

• You will now go to the full item edit screen when adding a product instead of the half edit screen we had in place.

Email

• Double quotes were generating at the bottom of emails. This has been fixed.

• Locations now work in emails.

Publish and Deliver (1 of 2)

• You can no longer access this screen if manager approval mode is on and the quote is not approved.

• The Printed Master Agreement number was not populating correctly from Sell.

• Fixed tab level calculated fields that are needed for the Example MSP proposal from the content exchange to properly display. This includes SLA, Includes, Excludes, and Exceptions.

Publish and Deliver (2 of 2)

• The document file naming convention has been updated to be: CompanyName.QuoteReadableID.Version.InternalPublishCount.pdf to help with refreshing issues in the browser, and how files look in CRM systems.

• Visual Quotes will now render for publish and deliver screens.

• Visual Quote Tabs are now not printed by default, like they are in create.

Administrative Setup

• Some CRM configurations were case sensitive and causing Quosal Create and Sell to read different things.

• Standard Users can now pick their CRM credentials from Sell.

Remote Opportunities

• Remote Opportunities will now create looking up the customer from the remote system based on Account, First Name, Last Name. They were using the local system ID, which would not be the same on the remote system.
