Q8) WHAT IS BEING DESCRIBED?
X is strong enough that a two inch square piece is enough to support a 79 kg person. The strength of the bond depends on how well the hooks are embedded in the loops, how much surface area is in contact with the hooks, and the nature of the force pulling it apart. If X is used to bond two rigid surfaces, e.g. auto body panels and frame, the bond is particularly strong because any force pulling the pieces apart is spread evenly across all hooks. Also, any force pushing the pieces together is disproportionally applied to engaging more hooks and loops. Vibration can cause rigid pieces to improve their bond
(contd…)
THREE WAYS TO MAXIMIZE THE STRENGTH OF A BOND BETWEEN THE TWO FLEXIBLE PIECES ARE:
increase the area of the bond ensure that the force is applied parallel
to the plane of the fastener surface increase the number of hooks and
loops per area unit.

NASA also believe that the effects of altitude could have increased the unpredictability of X at 1,000 metres above sea level.

QUESTION 2
Q2) *** ID THE FAMILY NAME X
NOTE:THIS IS THE STAR QUESTION OF THE QUIZ
The most common of the four variants of the family name is ‘X’ – this is the closest Tamil word.
All of the variants belong to the ‘Athreya Gothra’, i.e have a direct lineal descent from Atri Rishi.
In Brahmanic traditions, the lineage carries more weight when passed on from father to son. As a result of general population growth, the gothra pravarthaka, i.e the originator of the gothra, Atri Rishi (1800 BCE), originated the Atri Gothra, to which some Shakas (branches) of the Rig Veda were assigned to.
THIS IS THE MAIN CLUE
With the passage of time, and due to migrations, a group of Vaidika Brahmanas (Vedic Brahmins), settled down around the Yathotakaari temple near Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu. The history of the temple, alludes to a group of Brahmans, who performed services of carrying water in pitchers and ghatams from the Vegavathi River to the temple regularly. This group earned the titled Y which literally means water suppliers.
Y, eventually, due to lingustics evolution morphed into X, and when descendants of this family started migrating, X was pronounced differntly in Karnataka due to influence of Kannada, and hence the Y’s came to be called the Z.
AND THE ANSWER IS
X-Kidambi Y-Ghatambhi Ghatam+ambhi =Ghatambhi Z-Kadambhi in kannada In kannada ‘cada’ means pitcher In the Andhra Region, the came to be
called as Kilambis. Inspiration-Abinav Kadambi
