Cutting Directions

From the background fabric, cut:• (18) 4-1/2" x width of fabric (WOF) strips; from strips, cut (208) pairs of side triangles• (68) 4-1/2" squares• (94) 2-1/2" x 4-1/2" rectangles

From EACH of the (9) assorted Gem Stones prints, cut:

• (2) 4-1/2" x width of fabric (WOF) strips; from strips, cut (22) center triangles

From the Cherry Bomb and Sonic Green prints, cut: • (1) 4-1/2" x width of fabric (WOF) strip; from strip, cut (10) center triangles

From the binding fabric, cut:• (8) 2-1/2" x width of fabric (WOF) strips

Block Construction

1 Following the instructions found in Planted Seed Designs’ Triangle-in-a-Square Tool, make the following Triangle-in-a-Square (TIAS) units.

From EACH Gem Stones print 3, 6, 8, 11, 16, 17 and 20, make:• (22) 4-1/2" TIAS units

From EACH Gem Stones print 13 and 21, make:• (17) 4-1/2" TIAS units (you will have 5 each left over)

From EACH Gem Stones print 1 and 27, make:• (10) 4-1/2" TIAS units
