Part 1: Test your computer at least 1 day before your visit by following steps 1-6 below. Part 2: Connect to your virtual visit at least 15 minutes before the start time on the day of your visit by following steps 1-9 (you should have no problem connecting since you have completed steps 1-6 during testing). That will open a webpage where you will see this screen. Click on Join on the web instead. If you get this message asking to use your microphone and camera, click Allow. Enter your first and last name, and then click Join now. You may not be able to turn your camera and microphone on until the provider is connected. If you are still having problems, view the Troubleshooting section at the bottom of the next page. You should see yourself on the screen if your camera is on. These buttons should be “on” (purple). Read all of the instructions to prepare and connect to your Virtual Visit using your computer. There are 2 parts and both must be completed at the times shown below.

Go to the Virtual Visit email that you received from the clinic and click on the Join Microsoft Teams Meeting link (If you do not see the email, check your Junk folder).

If you connect before your provider, you will see this message. Your provider will connect with you as soon as they are ready to start your appointment.

If you see this window, your connection is working.

Please be patient, your provider may have a previous appointment that is taking longer than expected.

This is how it looks once the provider connects with you.

You will see them on your screen and you will see yourself in the bottom right corner.

9 Click the red phone receiver to end your call.

Pick a microphone and camera from the drop-down fields.

• PC with Google Chrome • access to high speed internet, webcam and headset

• IOS or Android device (smart phone or tablet)• smartphone/tablet mic and speaker

Click on the Devices icon which will open a new window on the right.

Troubleshooting

If this is your test, click Close in the top right corner and then follow the instructions for Part 2 on the day of your visit.

If this is the day of your visit, continue to step 7.OR

Make sure your camera and microphone are on.

Move your mouse and this toolbar will re-appear.

Connect Using your iPhone or Android Device

Go to the Virtual Visit email that you received from the clinic and tap the Join Microsoft Teams Meeting link. (If you do not see the email, check your Junk folder.)

Enter your first and last name and tap Join meeting.

Tap Join as a guest.

You will not be able to turn on your camera or unmute your microphone until the provider connects to you.

Download the Microsoft Teams app from the app store.

If you connect before your provider, you will see this message and your provider will connect with you when they are ready to start your appointment.

Please be patient, your provider may have a previous appointment that has run longer than expected.

(Images and wording will be slightly different when using an Android device, but the steps are the same)

Tap Camera to turn it on so they can see you.
