This is quite stereotypical of the people that filled in my questionnaire as they were mainly teenagers. The next 2 most popular genres were RnB and Dance music which again are quite stereotypical of the audience i asked.

On the first question in my questionnaire, what are your 3 favourite music genre’s, the genre that came up the most was Rap music. This is quite stereotypical of the people that filled in my questionnaire as they were mainly teenagers. The next 2 most popular genres were RnB and Dance music which again are quite stereotypical of the audience i asked.
How often do you read music magazines?

Quite surprisingly 6 out of the 10 people i asked never read music magazines which shows the way technology is changing because most of the people i asked will find out music news online or on their iPad etc. Also none of the people i asked said that they frequently read music magazines.
How much would you be willing to pay for a music magazine?
50p - £1.50£1.51 - £2.50£2.51 - £3.50£3.51 or above
The majority of the people that i asked wouldn’t pay over £1.50 which shows that they’re probably not that interested in buying a music magazine because of the age that they are at and they can just find out all the latest music info off the internet instead. Only one person would pay over £3.51 which again reiterates this.
Where do you usually find and listen to new music?

Television is the main source for finding and listening to new music, according to my audience that i asked which is probably expected of people in this day and age as people are always watching TV. Also through Youtube was the next biggest source which for listening to music is a massive site all around the word so that was pretty stereotypical too.
What attracts you to music magazines?

The main feature that attracts people that i asked to my magazine was the images which shows that if i take good photos for my front cover then my magazine is more likely to sell. The next biggest feature that the people i asked liked was the contents and stories of a magazine, so if i have good photos and good stories on the front of my magazine then people are more likely to buy my magazine.
