Both: Because they want to sell the song to everyone not just one sex. So they have the pretty girls and dancey beat for boys and they have the nice outfits and dances for the girls.

Males: Because the females are usually shown in a sexual way to appeal to males.

Both: Because the music and videos are varied, it can appeal to anyone.
