Strengths of the newspaper advert taskThe font that was used was basic and plain. This

was because I didn’t want to draw attention away from the pictures and the information.

The use of the sky one logo is used to attract audiences who are used to watch documentaries of this style on this channel already.

The bright colours are successful at attracting the audience.

The information that is presented on the newspaper advert is clear ad easy to see. The audience are able to find the important information relevant to the documentary with out much effort.

The tag line is at the top and clear for everybody to see.

Weakness of the newspaper advert taskThe title is at to much of an angle, it is

readable, but I think it would be better if it was angles a bit more straight.

The information could have been placed at the top. This is because research shows that when people read they go from top to bottom, this would been that the information would be the first thing that they see when they look at the poster and it would stick in there mind.

The top image is a bit dark and unable to make our faces very well.

Strengths of the radio taskThe music is really up beat, this

was important because the subject of the documentary was a face paced dance competition.

All the information is given out at the end, this is important so that it will stick in the audiences head.

It is made clear what time, date and channel it is going to on.

Weaknesses of the radio taskThe audio voiceover is a little bit

distorted compare from the audio that was from the documentary.

When Will talks he doesn’t quite finish his sentence.

How they work togetherThe same tagline is used in both

of these. JOIN THEM AND TAKE CENTER STADGE

This is to connect a link between all three things, to make it easier for the audience to link the trailer to the newspaper advert and all together, to the documentary.

I believe that all three of my pieces have come together nicely. In both my documentaries and my newspaper advert, I used the same font. This lets the audience associate the font with my documentary.

It’s also to emphasise the important of continuity for the audience.
