What have I learnt? From my preliminary task to my final product I

feel that I have learnt a lot. The first thing that I feel that I have learnt the most is Photoshop. This is because before I did my preliminary task I did not know how to use Photoshop, but then whilst I was making my preliminary task I was using Photoshop and I gradually gained an understanding of how to use it. Then when I was making my final magazine I was confident with how to use it and I felt comfortable with making my magazine and I knew what I needed to do to make my magazine look professional.

What have I learnt? Another element that I feel that I have

learnt from the start where I was making my preliminary magazine is that, I have learnt how to attract my target audience with images and the text that I use on my magazine. For example I have used an artist that is 17 years old and that is the same age as my target audience, therefore they may feel relatable.

Mise en scene and camerawork From my preliminary task to my final product it is clear that I

have used different mise en scene, as you can see in my preliminary task they all had a white background, but in my final product I took some photos outside so that there was a mixture of different photos. This also meant that my magazine was not as boring and it made my magazine look much more professional. I also used various different camera shots so that the audience are interested. On my preliminary task I only used three photos, one of them is a mid shot and one is an over the shoulder shot. In my final magazine I used an extreme close up, close up, mid shot and a long shot. Therefore I also felt that I learnt how to take many different camera shots to make my images look professional. After making my preliminary task I also learnt how to use the rule of thirds on my photos. As I used these shots that I learnt it improved my work to make it look like a real magazine.
