FROM THAT TO THE FINAL PRODUCT?

LOOKING BACK AT YOUR PRELIM TASK, WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNT IN THE PROGRESSION FROM THAT TO THE FINAL PRODUCT?

I was happy with my preliminary task because I got the match on action right but when my friend dropped and I couldn’t position him well so I had to film a reaction shot because of my mistake which is why I wasn’t totally pleased with my preliminary task. In my preliminary task I executed the match on action without a problem and it went smoothly in my final product there wasn’t a match on action but there was two scenes where I had a close up of a mobile phone to show the text message being received and what the text message says.

The hardest part of my prelim task was holding the camera stable because I was using my phone and getting the 180 degree rule right was hard as well because when I first attempted I got it wrong. In my final product because of the location I was trying to film I couldn’t get the camera fully behind me but I still kept to the 180 degree rule and kept the character on the right both times.

• First of all the quality is better and the camera work is much more stable because I used a tripod and I used a proper camera.

• The images are clearer and more stable also now the angles are better in my prelim I have left a lot of space on top of characters heads.

• The titles and the music when they enter and exist the screen is really important and also if the credits go away really quickly it makes everything looks really rushed so timing matters a lot.
