Throughout the creation of my media product I have used a lot of different types of technologies that have helped develop and improve my final design of my music magazine. I have used the following:

Quark XpressAdobe PhotoshopMicrosoft Word and Microsoft Powerpoint Dell PCDSLR Cannon D500Prezi, Blogger, Slideshare and Scribd

Quark Xpress

Quark Xpress helped me design my contents page and double page spread. Quark allowed me to add images, shapes and text in order to construct my media product. It was very important when it came to my double page spread because it allowed me to write columns by using its guidelines to write in.

Adobe PhotoshopPhotoshop allowed me to edit the

photos I have taken for my media product. It was very useful when it came to the production of my magazine front cover. It allowed me to change the colour levels of my cover star to make it have a more attracting affect. Photoshop also allowed me to put writing on my front cover which is useful for my sell lines and mast head. It also allowed me to put shapes in my front cover which is useful for the puff I used.

Microsoft Word and Powerpoint

Microsoft word allowed me to write things like my publication plan and questionnaires which I could upload to Blogger. This is important because it allows me to write evidence of my work which can help me get more marks.

Powerpoint has been very useful in my evaluation as I have used it frequently and it is a simple and easy way to put together information and put together. I can put pictures on powerpoint which gives more evidence and makes it less boring.

Dell PC

The Dell PC I used is the most important piece of technology I used in the process of constructing my media product because with out it I couldn’t have done any of it. It allowed me to go on software's like Photoshop and quark to put together my music magazine. It also allowed me to download fonts I used for my front cover so without it my front cover wouldn’t look like how it does now.

DSLR Camera

The Cannon D500 was useful in my production because it allowed me to take photographs to put on my front cover, contents page and double page spread. The large memory capacity meant that I could take a lot of photos and keep them all so I could choose which one I would use for my production. It was also useful because I could upload the photos I had taken straight to the computer. It allowed me to see the photos I had taken as I could scroll through pictures that was on the memory card.

Websites

Websites allowed me to use different ways to upload my work to blogger. Blogger was one of the most important websites I used during my task as it allowed me to post my work online for my teacher to see. Different websites like prezi, slideshare and scribd all let me upload work from different formats to my blog. Prezi was like powerpoint but with different features and a fresher design. Slideshare allowed me to upload my powerpoints to blogger and scribd allowed me to upload word ducuments I have written to my blog.
