Mise-en-scene

The mise-en-scene of my magazine throughout was kept very natural as the model has no makeup on and no accessories, but a guitar sitting in her garden, this shows a certain type of teenager who isn’t so wild as others may see them. Natural scenery has been used throughout as on my contents page another model is posing with a side profile leaning against a tree.

Models

Most of the poses in the pictures of the magazine are medium close ups, some are full body from a distance, some are avoiding eye contact with the camera, this portrays a sense of secrecy however those where the models are looking directly into the camera make it more connectable to the readers.

Language

Throughout the magazine I have not used informal language much, even though it is aimed for teenagers the specific target audience are not those who are into speaking slang often. However it still has maintained a sense of chattiness and in formalness.

Tie ins

To try and attract more audiences I have placed a tie in for a free poster on the chair of which the model was posing on which is black and the writing is in brown with a yellow outline to make it stand out.
