How did you attract/address the audience?

ConventionsMostly using feminine colours; purple, pink, yellow and peach with a hint of masculine, blue, invites young girls to have a peak at what lies inside my magazine. The blue does indicate males within the magazine but only for gossip. **wink wink**

Images demonstrates individualism yet very ‘girly’, this is done through clothing and body language. Girls in this magazine are seen as confident and brave.

PromotionalChance to win iTunes Gift Card and Beats Headphone. To win the competition the must buy the magazine and use a specific code from inside.

Collect a series of badges and posters. Encouraging a purchase or the whole series to complete a collection.

Advertising clothes from retail outlets with fashionable clothes at reasonable prices. Not only does it promote H&M and New Look but it also makes the magazine very relatable to the reader.

Point of Sale

As my magazine will be distributed by a major distribution company. It will also be available in major retail outlet such; HMV, Tesco, ASDA and WHSmith. This is beneficial to my magazine as the audience can pick it up whilst doing everyday shopping, it’s very accessible and less time consuming for them.

Due to new technology, my magazine isn’t only available on paper, but also on social networks like; Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. This new generation seems to know how to work it best and as my magazine is targeted at young girls, this will be extremely beneficial as it’ll be accessible with a touch of their finger. Carrying Internet with them also means this can access my website and radio keeping up with the latest on the go to school/college or socialising with friends.
