What kind of media institution might distribute your product and

Dimension films are well known for some of the following films;

• Spy Kids• Scream• Scary Movie • Equilibrium

• Dimension films was part of The Weinstein Company, and work closely with the Miramax films. This means if they was to distribute our film we would have support from both companies. Also from the films I listed on the slide before 3 of them all had sequels to them, this shows that Dimension likes to elaborate on a film. This could mean that there could be a part 2 to ‘Lost Signal’

Warner brothers have created many thriller films, these include;• Terminator• Harry Potter• Inception• Unknown

• Warner Brothers are a very well known company and used to be one of the trademark names for many cinema’s in the UK. However they are more kknown around children, which could have some effect if they promoted our thriller as we do not think it is suitable for young children and is more for the teenage catagory.

Universal have been the proud producers of many thriller, including;

• Johnny English• The Bourne Identity• Van Helsing• E.T

• Universal are well known for producing thrillers and the thrillers which they do produce are often very successfull. Most films that are produced by Universal do not have a sequal to them, and so if they produced our thriller we would not have to worry about making it so there could possibly be a second film. Also Universal produces films made with all kinds of budgets, which is good as our thriller is a low budget film.

20th Century fox is well known for;• The A Team• Avatar• The Chronicles of Narnia• Alien vs Predator

• 20th Century Fox has produced many successful thrillers and are very well known in both America and England. This means if they were to produce our thriller it would be very successful and would become global. However 20th Century Fox produces thrillers with a high budget which have used lots of modern technology like the knew film ‘Avatar’ which won many oscars for its performance. Our film is only low budget so this is not a likely choice for us.

Summit Entertainment have produced many films including;

• The Twilight Saga• Remember Me• Letters to Juliet• Memento

• Summit Entertainment are known for a vast variety of films, the maing one which is more recent is ‘The Twilight Saga’. The fact that these films are very popular with the younger generation means that if Summit was to produce our film the audience would be who we were aiming it at.

Places your thriller can be shown

• Our thriller could be shown numerous places, this can include on the tv, in cinema, on DVD online at specific film websited such as Youtube.com

How can your Thriller be advertised?

• Our thriller could be advertised in multiple places, it could be advertised on tv, at the cinema before a film starts, on billboards, at bus stops, on buses, in newspapers and magazines and many more places. By advertising our thriller in these places it would mean more people would gain an interest and want to go and watch it.
