Question 2How effective is the combination of my main product and ancillary texts?

Combining productsCreating a link between a music video and ancillary products which come along with an album release (digipak, album advert) creates a crucial platform in which the promotion of the artists products is promoted. It allows for market saturation of the artist with consistent repetition of their image within the music industry.

Promotion commonly aims to: Increase album sales Raise awareness of tour dates, increasing ticket sales Increase artist awareness, particularly for new emerging artists

When intentionally creating links between all three promotional products, it emphasises the promotional impact made in the industry, and makes the audience aware that products are related.

Personal Judgement Personally, I believe there is enough links between the three media texts to clearly identify the relationship between them. I believe colour scheme and use of images/graphics are very important as I find them to be the most striking when it comes to first impression. In order to substantiate the success of the ancillary collective, I have asked members of the audience for some feedback.
