How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?

Our three products, 'Body Confidence' Documentary, Double page spread and radio trailer, have elements of Synergy throughout. What I feel creates synergy over our three products is the use of sound or images from the documentary. We use images on the double page spread that are stills from the documentary, this will attract the audience by creating interest as we include sneak peaks of footage. Within the radio advert we included answers our vox pop interviews had gained. This allows the audience to gain knowledge on the topics within the main product and creates interest. By using images and sound from the documentary throughout the ancillary products, I feel It is effective at liking the three products.

What I do not feel was done well was they way in fact the double page spread did not clearly state the documentary name. I feel that by not including the name of the product we were advertising is a loss of synergy as the audience may not immediately know what the documentary is about.

In conclusion, I feel that the synergy created through the three products was very effective as you can see similarities between the products. In response to our double page spread, by including the title of the documentary clearly I feel it would increase the effectiveness and make it obvious they are all connected. By not doing this I feel it lets the others down and some people may not immediately recognize the connection between the two.
