Genre

Our movies genre is an action and adventure movie. Movies like Batman and Tinker tailor also share the same genre, so we have used these as a basis for comparison

The purpose of an action and adventure movie is entertain the viewer without having a difficult narrative. An audience would expect on edge and experience catharsis.

Narrative

The narrative is simple in order to be understandable to the audience. Action and adventure movies are usually rely on high budget effects to entertain the audience, which in our our case the target audience is Males from 15-30. The narrative is of a student who is asked to get a usb stick by any means. On his way home he finds one, but this one has a secret coding that people want on it to have.

This can be compared Batman dark knight rises. Where a scene is thrilling at make the audience feel an enigma.

Camera

The camera we used was a Panasonic HDCHS80. Which we attached to a tripod. This helped us to create different types of shots. For example we portrayed are main protagonist in a low angle to convey his dominance.

Other camera techniques we used to help show represent our characters was the high angle of the homeless man to connote his subordinate representation.

Mise-en-scene

The characters In our movie were chosen to be relatable to our audience. The environment we set our video in supports stereotypes, because it what people expect to see in an action and adventure movie. The gritty grey lighting of our movie makes it looks very similar to action and adventures movies by Christopher Nolan.

Mise-en-scene (Part 2)

The clothing wore by our characters are suppose to represent how our character is just a regular student. The agent in our movie wears a shirt to connote his dominance, and serious style of character.

Sound

The diagetic sound of our film helps create enigma with the audience. The loud noise of the soundtrack makes the scenes more intense. We have chosen to do this because like all stereotypical action and adventure movies its purpose is to keep the audience entertained.
