From Montréal follow the scenic St Lawrence River to Québec City, famed for its medieval turrets and cobbled streets. Driving alongside the river you will reach the Bas St Lawrence region, boasting some of the most beautiful villages in Québec. Spend time exploring the historic Rivière du Loup before heading for the famed Gaspé Peninsula.

Follow the craggy coastline past Forillon National Park to Percé which gazes out on Ile Bonaventure, a picturesque sanctuary to thousands of seabirds. Continue your drive around the Baie des Chaleurs passing charming villages and scenery, spending a night in Pointe à La Croix before entering the province of New Brunswick.

Trace the coastline of the beautiful bay and join the Acadian Coastal Drive and enjoy the warm Acadian hospitality and delicious seafood at the pretty towns of Caraquet and Shediac. Your journey veers inland and heads to the Bay of Fundy where you will spend two nights at Saint John. Stroll Market Square amongst historical buildings and soak up the atmosphere before flying home from here.

The first night of your adventure is in Halifax, Nova Scotia, before setting off to Pictou the next stop along the route. In the morning take the ferry to Canada’s smallest province, Prince Edward Island, and drive through the gently rolling landscapes to the capital, Charlottetown.

Explore the ‘gentle island’ with its legacy of Anne of Green Gables, white sand beaches and red coastal cliffs. Your journey continues by crossing the Confederation Bridge to New Brunswick where you will spend time exploring the historical capital of Fredericton. Your drive heads towards the picturesque town of St Andrews by-the-Sea where you will start to follow the famous Fundy Coastal drive.

Continue to Saint John, the oldest incorporated Canadian city before arriving in Alma next to the spectacular Fundy National Park. Observe the dramatic Fundy tides, waterfalls and streams here before making your way to the cosmopolitan city of Moncton. Return to Halifax, with the following day at leisure until your overnight flight home.
