  • LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

    Dear Explorer,

There is little pristine wilderness left in the worldplaces

that truly inspire awe, and possess purity and beauty that defy

description. The Arctic and Antarctica are two such places.

This year is an especially signicant one for us: 25 years ago, Quark Expeditions founders set out to explore these regions with a single ship and a dream to reach the North Pole. We also traversed the rst-ever tourism transit of the Northeast Passage and historic routes across the Russian Arctic. Today, we still embody the spirit of the great explorersits one of the reasons were the leader in all things polar. We oer more expeditions and choice of vessels than any other polar operator!

As we celebrate this silver milestone of providing passengers with unforgettable trips of a lifetime, we are delighted to bring you more ways to discover these wild places, more awe-inspiring moments and more comfort and convenience.

Introducing the Explorers Collection, a hand-picked portfolio of six extraordinary expeditions featuring unique accommodations and modes of travel, exclusive to Quark.

The collection includes two journeys aboard the intimate Hans Hansson small exploration boat to rarely visited Antarctic havens and the Falklands, an exciting Galapagos Islands program on the Evolution small expedition ship, and Arctic Watch, our unique Canadian Arctic basecamp.
