In driving and test rig trials, we go beyond what components and running gears are expected to withstand in normal operation, for example, on a simulated journey over 1.6 million kilometres. In addition, we undertake real test journeys all over the world on snow,

Quality also comes about when you combine vertical integration with manufacturing quality.

No matter whether we manufacture a structural part ourselves or outsource it: in every case, the consistently high BPW quality stan-dards for processes and products apply, for example where material properties or documentation are concerned. We qualify our suppliers to automotive standard and integrate them as partners in our supplier management system. Moreover, the quality management system

put in place by us and our subsidiaries is routinely certified to the international DIN EN ISO 9001 standard. We also hold certification to automotive standard ISO/TS 16949. Your benefit is obvious: you can depend on quality down to the very last detail.

Once the test phase has been successfully completed, it is time for production.

Quality is also: surface fi nishing that provides comprehensive protection.

To give your investment long-term protection, we apply our cathodic electro-dip coating with zinc phosphating (KTL

Zn). With this special

surface treatment that offers a five times higher corrosion protection than conventional painting processes, the KTL paint pigments are deposited in even layers on the structural parts. This coating is then

baked to produce a robust, all-over protective layer. The advantages: minimum corrosion creep (e.g. in the event of surface damage as a result of stone impact) and high chemical resistance (e.g. when using pressure washers with detergent additives).

After manufacture, our individual components are lacking only one thing: the fi nishing touches.

Our manufacturing ensures that every component and functional group on BPW running gear systems fits perfectly and is produced to consistently high quality. All relevant manufacturing and assembly procedures as well as quality and functional tests, are documented in parallel with the process – for maximum transparency and safety.

Should you need a replacement part in the future, we can identify and supply exactly the right one based on the type plate in very little time, to ensure minimum off-road times and maximum availability of your vehicle. And for long to come, too, because this data is available for the entire lifetime of the vehicle.
