ORGANIZATION

Richard Pieris Group of Companies has been in business for over 80 years and is recognized as the pioneer of the Sri Lankan Rubber products manufacturing industry. In 1992 the company pursued a new strategy of reorganizing the organizational structure of its manufacturing divisions and independent Strategic Business Units (SBU) with full operational autonomy was formed.

Richard Pieris Rubber Products Ltd was formed to carry out the Rubber products manufacturing operations of the Group. As specified in the Company’s mission statement, Richard Pieris Rubber Products Ltd is in the business of satisfying customer needs by adding value to rubber to provide products required by the Household, Industrial, Institutional and Export markets.

The main strength of the Company is its brand name ARPICO which has become a household name in Sri Lanka. This has earned the Company the trust and reputation of Consumers islandwide. Principal ActivitiesRichard Pieris Rubber Products Ltd manufactures moulded, extruded, calendered and fabricated rubber products for the domestic, industrial and export markets. All standard test instruments such as Rheometers, Viscometers, Plasimeters, Tensometers, Abrasion testers and devices to measure Ageing Hardness, Specific Gravity etc are available. Our Research & Development division consists of competent technologists with vast experience who can advise the customers of their requirements. Products Range• Moulded Rubber Products A wide range of mats for domestic, industrial and vehicular

use, floor tiles, automotive parts, washers, bushes, rings, traffic cones and industrial products such as conveyor belts, bridge bearing pads etc can be manufactured using natural and synthetic rubbers according to the requirements of the customers. Designing and fabrication of moulds at competitive costs is another service provided by the company.

automobiles, cords, fenders, edgings, a range of water bars for the construction industry can be manufactured using natural and synthetic rubbers.

rubber sheeting with grooved design or plain. These types of carpets are used in carpeting vehicles, corridors and passages.
