This has been helped by the outstanding infrastructure of the IT, semi conductor and display industry which has a wealth of experience in quality and process management from which the photovoltaic sector is also able to benefit.

As one of the leading manufacturers in the automated production of semi-conductors, Win Win Precision Technology uses its knowledge of the semi-conductor industry built up over the years to continuously optimise in-house module production. All modules are manufactured in its own production plants at its head office in Taiwan from where they are shipped to subsidiaries the world over. This is the only setup which enables us to monitor the production process and flow of goods for every single module and ensure their high quality.

Win Win Precision Technology has won several awards over the last few years for its business success and the high quality of the WSP series. Quality we can attest to

As a responsible company, we ensure the environmentally friendly disposal of our products. We have therefore under-taken to guarantee and fully finance the return and recycling of solar modules. In this way you enjoy the advantage of returning your modules free of charge.

All our products have been certified through our parent company Win Win. They are certified in line with CE, MCS, UL, IEC/EN 61215 (ed. 2) and IEC/EN 61730, protection class II. The modules have also passed the salt spray corrosion test according to IEC 61701, PID and feature the DLG test symbol for resistance to ammonia.

It therefore came as no surprise to us that our WST range was the first module to pass the hail test according to IEC 61215 and TÜV-Rheinland‘s toughest PID test in 2014 with distinction.

In September 2014 the independent Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) bestowed the Excellence Award on the WINAICO WSP-M6 module as the best module in terms of safety, reliability and efficiency. Furthermore, the WINAICO modules are also participating in the Desert Knowledge Project in Australia. Here, they are installed in a test array alongside the modules of other manufacturers, where they are exposed to extreme climatic conditions and are perfor-ming exceptionally well. The fact that WINAICO modules are among the best on the market is also underlined by their ex-ceptional PTC rating position. The polycrystalline WSP-260P6 module has succeeded in asserting itself against approx. 11,500 listed modules.

The cells

The solar cells are the module’s generator and are key to its output. WINAICO only uses high-efficiency cells displaying the least variance in the manu-facturing process. This reliably results in high performance levels for every single module – with good energy yields even during low light levels.

The glass

The glass protects the compo-nents behind it from the effects of the weather. WINAICO only uses high-transmission face-plate which translates into positive module performance and yield.

The frame

The frame protects the laminate inside it from thermal and mechanical stresses. The unique WINAICO module frame is made from solid aluminium and delivers maximum stability and protection from material fatigue. Rounded aluminium corner pieces guarantee maximum distortion rigidity and water tightness.

The EVA film

EVA films bond the solar cells with the glass surface and encapsulate the module. The quality films used by WINAICO guarantee insulation and protection over the module’s entire life.

The rear film

Films on the rear protect the components from damp and other external influences. The rear film used by WINAICO is highly resistant to weathering and is the only proven film to reliably protect photovoltaic modules for their full lives (more than 25 years).

The adhesive tape

Adhesive tape bonds the aluminium frame and glass. Unlike a silicone seal, the adhesive tape offers very good resistance to heat, UV light and chemical attack from e.g. ammonia. The adhesive tape used by WINAICO keeps out dirt and moisture perfectly, is very durable and balances out the different expansion rates of glass and aluminium without causing stress. All in all, it ensures a reliable and long-term bond.

The socket

The socket used by WINAICO is of protection class IP65, offering optimum protection from moisture, dirt and UV radi-ation. In the event of damage, it can be opened so that the module does not necessarily have to be replaced.

Efficiency results from making the right decisions

WINAICO uses a fully automatic process to manufacture its high-performance modules. Implementation and integration of systems engineering are based on a wealth of experience and knowledge. The systems engineering makes possible high levels of process management and optimisation resulting in assurances of outstanding quality, minimum reject rates and reliable continuity. As well the integrative overall layout of the systems engineering, WINAICO has chosen to use machines from European and Japanese quality leaders. Our expertise from the semi-conductor industry has taught us that ultramodern production technology is important and vital to becoming a quality leader. All stages of production are monitored digitally and permit high levels of transparency. When determining the level of automation we aimed to minimise manual work in order to eliminate human sources of error.

The in-house test lab works diligently to test the WINAICO modules above and beyond TÜV standards:

The fully automatic contacting reduces the hot spot risk to

a minimum.

Micro-optical testing of each solder point prevents undesirable

resistances and makes a significant contribution to hot

spot protection.
