One Band, One Sound, One Voice, One Vision, SHFBAC!

Greetings My Sisters of the Suburban Houston Fort Bend Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

On a beautiful morning not long ago, the Protocol Advisor, the Ritual and Ceremonies Chair and Co-Chair lead the processional of the Charter Members, Past Presidents and Executive Committee as the chapter members watched in awe. Committee Chairs stood in formation to execute a timely meeting. Oh, what an excellent marching performance this was for our first meeting. Let’s continue to march by joining one committee with a total commitment. The time is NOW to get and stay involved in the political, educational and economic landscape of our communities. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Connect, communicate, conquer to prevent breast cancer

one woman at a time.

PRESIDING OFFICER EVELYN PETERS DEAN

CHAPLAIN’S

Psalm 34: 1-4 and 15-19 1. I WILL bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. 3. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. 4. I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

15. The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open upon their cry. 16. The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. 17. The righteous cry, and the Lord delivered them out of all their troubles. 18. The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. 19. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.
