Reaching the Nations w ith the Gospel in July

July was a great month for evangelism in Sweetwaters. Our KY

team ran a vacation bible school. It averaged about 75 children

per day plus 13 in a teen Bible study. The Mississippi team ran

two soccer camps that reached 120 kids with the gospel. We gave

away over 150 copies of God's Word during those two weeks.

God was moving on home visits with 3 people giving their lives

to Christ! Our boy's dorm is almost complete with awesomemurals designed by our interns. Elizabeth worked in VBS at

Hilton Baptist Church as a youth leader alongside our interns.

Jacob loved VBS and soccer camp too. July truly was our best

Great Commission month yet!

Graduation Charge!  Thomas co-teaches a Bible study

every Wednesday night at New Life

Centre. He gave the challenge to

the graduates to use all the doctrine

& gospel principles they learned

over the past months to go spread

the gospel among the Indian people

who settled here but still are

trapped in Hinduism. If you like

spicy food, the fellowship hall

afterwards was the place for you!

Go ye therefore...

July was a great month of house visits. We had three patients pray to accept Christ this.

Julie got to lead one of the ladies to the Lord. Our last saved patient had

been resistant to the gospel for 2 years but finally broke down and was made whole. She

called for her dusty Bible and was readying with the new reading glasses we had for her

when we left. It's also such a blessing to give known believers a new Bible when theirs

has been stolen or is falling apart.

Thy Word is a Lamp unto

my feet

Thanks to generous donors, we were

able to give out over 150 copies of

God's Word in both Zulu or English in

July. These Bibles went into the hands

of children, teens,

and desperate patients who are

seeking Him at this time. We are so

thankful for the VBS & soccer camps

run by the mission teams from KY and

Mississippi. We claim the promise that

God's word does not return void!

Soccer Camp-SCOOOOOORE!

The soccer camps were a smashing

success. Julie coached kids 5-12 in the

AM while Emily & Melina help run our

child care program for kids <5. Each

day our campers were told a Bible story

at the end of the day. In the afternoons, teens attended. The boys played a

World Cup format tournament while the

girls made Jesus bracelets. At the end

daily, a Bible study took place. We put

80+ Bibles in the hands of these teens.

Pray we can start weekly teen Bible

studies in the Sweetwaters' community

now.

One way or another!

Our interns have been working

overtime again. Julie, Melina, and

Emily stole the show at Hilton

Baptist's VBS the 1st week in July.

Every morning, they led the kids in

singing the theme song to start off

VBS. Each girl taught a grade

level and led that grade in the

Bible story, game time and a craft.

They had to design the craft and

story time on their own. Jacob

attended the VBS. He says that

theme song still echoes in his

head!

Boy's dorm murals….TA-DAH!

All 3 interns have been hard at work creating murals in our boy's dorm bedrooms. Each took a

room and created a theme. They incorporated Scripture into their themes so everyday when the

boys wake up, they will see these verse and hide God's Word in their hearts.

Elizabeth Update

Elizabeth was busy during her

July holiday. She led a grade at

Hilton Baptist's VBS. She worked

from 6:30am-3:30pm daily. Some

nights she did not get home until 7

pm even! She also helped in the

Sweetwaters VBS and assisted

one day at Soccer camp. Now that

school is in session, she is going

to be on the soccer team and run

track & field. She couldn't believe

she was Grace College's best shot

 putter. Watch out Africa, she's

gonna launch it!

The Jacob Scoop

Jacob really enjoyed VBS at

Hilton Baptist in July. He

washed over 100 little window

panes to get the boy's dorm at

Tabitha ready. He attended

soccer camp in Sweetwaters a

little as well. This term in

school he will try his hand a

boy's field hockey. This way if

Elizabeth launches a shot put

in his direction, he has shin

guards and can defend himself

with the hockey stick. HA!
