A Note from the Editor:
This edition of the Bulletin was a collaborative effort. I would like to thank Gary Yong Gee and Reg Illingworth who both volun-
teered to help me get the spelling of the orchid names correct, as well as making sure that names were italicised correctly, and
brackets were used were they were meant to be used.
I have now set up a new master copy to be used for all future editions of the Bulletin. This should help overcome the technical
problems that plagued the production of June’s Bulletin. It should also help make it a lot easier and less time consuming to
produce future Bulletins. That, in theory, is the plan. We all know what happens to plans, especially the best made plans of
mice and men.
You will also notice that there are no extraneous photos of Bulbophyllums this month.

Housing: Solarweave covered shade house with 50% shade cloth. Plant grows on weldmesh bench 1 meter
above ground, 2 meters below roof and receives about 70% shade.
Watering: Overhead sprinklers from rainwater tank 3 times per week for 10 minutes in late afternoon from Octo-
ber till May. Plant watered about once per week in morning for 5 minutes in winter.
