    QoS Background

    QoS is a mechanism to control the performance,reliability and usability of the services.

    It is necessary to look at delivery of QoS, mainly

    from the customer's point of view. It is essential to meet the QoS standards and

    parameters set by the regulatory body andmaintain the same on a regular basis.

    Coverage, Accessibility (including GoS) and VoiceQualityare the main parameter ratings for QoS.

    Interconnection Background

    Interconnection between telecommunications networksis the key to unlocking unlimited value and reach ofcustomers and people to any place or any network inthe Country.

    All telecommunication operators exist to interconnect.

    The purpose of interconnection is to ensure end-to-endservice connectivity and to enable end user customersof interconnected operators to establish communicationwith each other.

    Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) has made itmandatory for all operators to interconnect among each

    other through point of interconnection.
