Nadie sabía exactamente de dónde vino Lila. Lo que sí sabían todos es cómo llego. Apareció una maña-

na, junto a un lilo recién florecido, entre todas las lilas, casi desapercibida una pequeña niña, con los ca-

bellos algo despeinados, con dos enormes ojos de color lila que hablaban por sí solos, que hablaban sin

palabras. La encontraron unos aldeanos que disfrutando de su paseo, impulsados por el aroma que des-

prendían las lilas, se acercaron a recoger alguna flor, y en lugar de flores recogieron una niña.

En seguida se sorprendieron porque la niña no hablaba, tenía los finos labios dibujados en su rostro, pero

no se movían para articular palabra alguna. No se dieron cuenta de que esta niña hablaba con los ojos,

lo decían todo sin usar las palabras.

Como no sabían muy bien cómo proceder con la pequeña, decidieron avisar a los sabios del reino. Y estos

se reunieron con la pequeña intentando sacarle alguna palabra que les informará de su procedencia. Pe-

ro no obtuvieron resultados. Y ninguno de ellos, ninguno de esos hombres tan sabios miró sus ojos, ninguno

se dio cuenta de que la niña hablaba con los ojos y les estaba diciendo muchas cosas. Tras mucho pensar

estos sabios, llegaron a la conclusión de que esta pequeña debía tener algún fallo en su capacidad men-

tal, concluyeron por tanto que su inteligencia debía ser escasa, tanto que le había impedido el aprendiza-

je del habla.

Finalmente determinaron que debían de ocuparse de ella hasta que encontraran a sus familiares. De esta

forma Lila comenzó a rotar por las casas de los habitantes del reino, viviendo tres días con cada una de

las familias. Desde el primer momento Lila consiguió hacerse un hueco en los corazones de aquellas perso-

nas, porque ellos la miraban a los ojos, ellos por tanto sin saberlo se comunicaban con ella.

Érase una vez una niña de ojos tristes, que quería vivir entre nubes de algodón de azúcar. Nubes de color

rosa, dulces, aquellas que muerdes y te llenan la boca de alegría pegajosa.

Ella quería vivir en un mundo rosa, dulce, y llenarse la boca de azúcar con cada bocado que daba a la

vida. Pero el mundo que ella conocía no era siempre ni dulce ni rosa. Ese mundo era de muchos colores, a

veces colores bonitos, a veces feos. Unos alegres, otros tristes, algunos vivos y otros apagados.

Había oído que todos los niños y niñas viven en mundos de colores felices, y que se llenaban la boca de

alegría pegajosa. Ella conocía esa sensación, a veces las nubes de su mundo eran rosas de algodón de

azúcar. Pero también en su mundo aparecían a veces otros tipos de nubes, estas eran de color negro o

gris, con formas extrañas, y no sabía de qué estaban hechas, pero estaba segura de que no eran de al-

godón de azúcar. Lo sabía porque su boca se llenaba con ellas de algo igual de pegajoso pero difícil de

identificar, algo amargo.

No le gustaban estas últimas nubes, es por ello que ya siendo muy pequeña se le ocurrió una idea. Se le

ocurrió hacer una máquina de nubes, así solo tendría que mezclar el azúcar con el colorante rosa y ten-

dría todas las nubes rosas que quisiera.

La niña de ojos tristes, estuvo varios días diseñando la máquina de hacer nubes y con mucho cuidadito,

poco a poco construyo esta máquina tan especial. Preparo los ingredientes con cuidado, y mientras lo ha-

cía aprendía de qué están hechas las nubes, cuáles son sus formas, tanto de las nubes rosas como de las

demás nubes. Tenía que aprenderlo todo para no equivocarse y no crear por error nubes que no le gusta-

rán.

Al poco tiempo tuvo preparada la máquina de hacer nubes y también los ingredientes. Consiguió mucho

azúcar y mucho colorante de color rosa. En cuanto puso a funcionar la máquina pudo crear muchas, mu-

chísimas nubes de color rosa, dulces, aquellas que muerdes y te llenan la boca de alegría pegajosa.

Desde entonces y gracias a la máquina de hacer nubes, que la pequeña había construido, su mundo estu-

vo lleno de nubes, pero en su mundo ya sólo aparecían las nubes que ella fabricaba. Antes no tenía esa

máquina y sin darse cuenta creaba todo tipo de nubes.

En el país donde nacen todos los cuentos, allí donde viven todos los personajes, vivía un pequeño ogro. Él

quería ser un ogrito bueno, pero los demás niños y personajes de los cuentos le tenían miedo y se asusta-

ban de él. Los ogros tienen mala fama. Cuando el pequeño ogro se acercaba no le hacían caso y hasta

huían de él. Fue así como este ogro aprendió a empujar y golpear a los demás niños y niñas. También los

amenazaba porque de esta forma conseguía que le hicieran caso y que quisieran jugar con él. Pero al

ogro no le gustaba ser malo, no le gustaba que los demás le tuvieran miedo.

El ogro empezó un nuevo curso en el colegio. Con el nuevo curso habían organizado las clases y en lugar

de sus compañeros de siempre, tenía esta vez compañeros nuevos. Fue así como conoció a una princesa,

que no quería ser princesa. Y en lugar de comportarse como deben hacer las princesas, hacía todo lo con-

trario. No le gustaba llevar vestidos, ni coronas. Su pelo era corto en lugar de largo. Y mucho menos le

gustaba mantener siempre una conducta ejemplar, la princesa subía a los árboles, le encanta saltar y

correr, disfrutaba pisando los charcos y todo esto eran conductas poco apropiadas para una princesa.

Todos pensaban que se portaba mal. Y ella que estaba muy enfadada, decidió portarse mal de verdad,

solía molestar a sus compañeros y también los golpeaba y empujaba.

Fue por estas razones por las que el ogro y la princesa eran castigados continuamente. Nadie les enten-

día. Así fue como muchas tardes después de clase se quedaban los dos castigados una hora más. Y de

este modo se hicieron amigos. Al ogro le sorprendió desde el principio que la princesa no le tuviera mie-

do. A la princesa no le importaba jugar con él aunque éste no la amenazará. A la princesa le sorprendió

que el ogro no la tratará como a una princesa, el ogro no esperaba que se comportará bien, y no le im-

portaba que su conducta fuera mala, es más no le molestaba que fuera una niña mala en lugar de ser

una princesa.

Después de muchas tardes juntos, los dos llegaron a ser muy, pero que muy amigos. Y a todos los de las

clase, incluidos los profesores les sorprendió esta extraña amistad. Pero lo más asombroso para todos fue

comprobar que los dos juntos se portaban bien, no se preocupaban por molestarse el uno al otro.
