Q: Why badge
the portal?
A: Motivation.Momentum: As students gain motivation for EOD’s, motivation will increase for other projects.
Metacognition: A clearer sense of self acknowledgement and self recognition leading to increased Ownership and Self Direction.

Students’ Feedback
Many look forward to how their stats stand each day and how close they are to the next badge.
Some did not realize how poorly (or well) they were doing before they could keep track.
Some think of it like a video game and want to complete the next level!
