This simple yet effective solution can be added to any existing P3 ESP solutions or support your new ESP installations. It is easily attached to the hanger or adapters CPC assembly and provides a solid barrier should the well experience a cata-strophic internal well event like cable or tubing failure. Installation of the solid connection barrier is added off-line to rig operations aligning with QCI’s goal to further reduce rig time for operators. The dual barrier is the first in the industry and aligns with standard wellhead design where it is common place to have redundant sealing to the environment. The QCI P3-DB delivers perfor-mance that exceeds most cable ratings and can support #6 to #2 AWG ESP cables up to 5,000 Volts and 150 Amp service.
