We used a HD Camcorder with a tripod to film the events of our opening sequence. Using a personal camera & tripod rather

than borrowing a college owned one allowed us to take more time with recording and we didn’t have to worry about any

possible damage to the equipment. From this I have learnt how to use a different type of camera to what I had used in the

previous preliminary project.

We used the program Sony Vegas Pro to edit our product because we felt more comfortable and

familiar using this program as opposed to the Mac’s software. This however meant that we could not work

on this in lesson, but working on the editing from home allowed us to take more time over each scene.

As we could only edit the project from home, we used Skype to call and communicate with

each other whilst being able to see the screen that the editing was taking place on.

From this I had learnt how to use the Windows 1.8 app version of Skype, which I

had never previously used.

YouTube was used, for this project, to keep a record of each edited version of “Dusan”, in

total there were six. From this I haven’t learnt anything about using YouTube as I already knew how to use the site from

running my own channel.

With Edublogs we had to maintain an uploading schedule where anytime any

progress or planning was made, it had to be uploaded. This taught me how to operate and maintain a presentable looking blog,

which I had never attempted to do before.
