Stereotypes…My final magazine products is a rock/pop genre magazine. Throughout the magazine I have used a lot of red, black and white which are stereotypically rock colours, which I know are used in a lot of rock magazines such as ‘Q’.

The model on my front cover is wearing dark colours which associates with the rock genre. If my magazine was fully pop I would have put the female in bright coloured clothing.

GenderThe audience for my magazine are mainly girls however it is also targeted to a male audience.  The female I have used on the cover is wearing greys and whites to fit with my rock genre.

My primary audience are mainly females, so I had to make sure that it appealed to mostly a female audience.

We know that on a rock magazine both male or females can be used on the front cover which is not going along with Naomi Wolf's theory. Rolling stones is known for using both males and females.

• my magazine I looked at magazines such as "Q" so that I knew what I had to include in my magazine. I realised that "Q" is made for a older audience.  I made my magazine at £2.00 and brought it out every two weeks so that it was affordable, I realised that if I brought the magazine out every week at £2.00 it would be come very pricey for the customer to buy and they may stop purchasing it.
