Q2: How effective is the combination of the main product and the ancillary texts?

In our documentary , we have included the title in both of radio trailer and magazine article so it links them easily.

• We had the same quotes from the documentary as the sneak peak in the Radio trailer to link them together.

• From our Documentary we used our title/slogan in our radio trailer and magazine article so people can recognise that they are about the documentary

Our documentary will show on the BBC 3 so we had our radio trailer on the BBC Radio 1 to promote out documentary and we have the narrator saying the channel by the end of the advert so people know where is it.

We used the main answers from the vox pops and interviews in the radio trailer to encourage the audience to make them want to watch the programme.

We also included the screenshot of the documentary on the magazine article as it was another good way to engage the audience tomake them want to watchthedocumentary.

As you can see that in our magazine we used a lot of quotes from the documentary to link them together as the sub heading which shows a major answer about cyber bullying, that the main reason could be that it is easy to type something that you wouldn't say in real life , we included it because it was a deep answer that could make a reader think.

We included the website that were used the most for cyber bullying, which we also mentioned in our documentary and included them in the magazine article to make it relatable to the audience and make it more eye catching for the reader as well.

Our radio trailer will be featured on the radio station BBC radio 1 as it is has the same target audience and it is a well known station. The Magazine article will be featured on the TV Times magazine as it is a famous magazine and has a well known audience.

The magazine article has a black and grey colour as a background to show more grim seriousness of the subject. We also used a lot of images and big quotes as sub-heading to make it stand out and more eye catching.

As a serious message our documentary portrays the role excellently in which it give a lot of valuable massage with a lot of awareness towards the subject.

In the end our documentary works very well with the ancillary text as it conveyed the same message through different elements of media.
