Welcome to 2013! Each December as I am about toring in the New Year I always

nd myself reecting on theprevious year and all that hasbeen accomplished, and 2012provided me with a lot of timefor reection! As we continueto grow, things just seem toget busier and busier as we getmore involved and ingrained inthe communities in which we service. This year wasour fullest calendar to date, and we ended the year instyle with our largest patient holiday parties ever!

During 2012 we not only expanded into the CentralTexas market, but grew overall by hiring 57 new

therapists. Our growth and success only increasesour ability to service the kids within our communities,and I couldnt be happier that we have been able toexpand while still providing the quality care we areknown for. As KidsCare Therapy continues to grow,our vision as a pediatric home health care companyhas always remained the same. Success is dened byour strength in carrying out our mission, ethics andhigh standards for providing the best care to as manychildren as possible.

We nished off 2012 strong, as we celebrated theholidays with our patients and their families. The

holidays are perhaps one of my favorite times ofyear mostly because of these parties. The FortWorth patient holiday party was held once again inthe Stockyards in Fort Worth, however, this year theDallas holiday party was held at the Dallas WorldAquarium. This proved to be a big hit with patientsand employees alike. We even have pictures of a diverwith a KCT sign (make sure to check out the inside ofthe newsletter for some great pictures)! This year ourparties hit record attendance, a sign of our prosperousgrowth in which I am so very thankful.

The year was lled with much more than parties andvisits to Central Texas though. We made so manynew connections in the community through all ofthe wonderful events that we attended. There areway too many to list, however, to all of our industrypartners out there who put on events to raise funding,awareness, or support in the name of bettering ourfuture generation thank you. You are the reason inwhich I love what I do so very much, and the reasonthat the children of the area thrive.

As I begin to look at 2013 I am excited to see whatit has in store for KidsCare Therapy and our industry,and I look forward to working with each one of youthrough it all. Happy New Year!

KidsCare Therapy was back at it this year for our Dallas and Fort Worth patient holiday parties. The FortWorth party was held in the Stockyards, and the Dallas party was held at the Dallas World Aquarium. Wehad a great time with all the families, and couldnt think of a better way to kick-off the holiday season.

Each year at KidsCare Therapys annual company holiday party we award an employee and therapist of theyear. These awards are based on individuals who display KidsCare Therapys core values of commitment,accountability, results, and ethics, not only in their work, but in their daily lives. We are pleased toannounce Monica Manzo as 2012s employee of the year, and Alex Guiton as our therapist of the year.

Monica been with KidsCare Therapy since 2006 and has held many positions within the company as aresult of her hard work and dedication. In 2011 she became our rst departmental lead. She has beensuccessful in her job role due in part of her willingness to accept responsibility, attention to detail andthe ability to adapt to any assignment or situation that is given. Her judgment, integrity and exemplarypersonal conduct have earned her the respect ofher peers. Her supervisor stated, I am pleased tohave Monica as part of my team due to her overallknowledge of company policies and procedures andher ability to tackle problems head on, unwaveringuntil a solution is found. She has endured manyhardships and changes in her years with KCT butperseveres with determination to overcome allobstacles in order to remain devoted to KCT. Shetruly cares about the clients we serve, alwaysmaking certain she is a good representative of ourcompany. She has effectively planned and assistedthe implementation of major departmental changeswhich resulted in greater efciency.Congratulations, Monica Manzo on being chosen asKCTs Employee of the Year for 2012. KidsCare Therapy was fortunate enough to hire Alex to complete her CFY,coming on board with us in the Fort Worth branch approximately two anda half years ago. She is an outstanding therapist, whose families loveand respect her. She is energetic and continues to want to step out of hercomfort zone to learn new interventions. Her notes and evaluations arealways timely, as well as complete. She is consistently one of our mostproductive therapists. She has shown her dedication to KCT by attendingalmost all of the company functions. She is not only beautiful on theoutside, but on the inside as well.
