Mustang Series Frac Plug: Key Advantages

The Mustang Series Frac Plugs have a Patented Nose Cone Design that keeps the plug located in the center of the casing during the pump-down process to prevent pre-setting the plug.

Positive Engagement between Nose Cone and Crown

Time is Money Spent!

The Mustang Series Frac Plugs have been recorded being pumped down hole at speeds of 800 FPM in the vertical and 400 FPM in the horizontal without pre-setting.

There is absolutely 0% aluminum in a MEG Frac Plug, thus reducing the risk of a bit or mill gumming up.

The MEG Frac Plug is very Mill or Drill Bit friendly Having a record of drilling over 50 Mustang Series Frac Plugs with one tri-cone sealed Kingdream rockbit (HA Series)

With the quick drill out times for the MEG Frac Plug and the use of a single rockbit, the process saves an estimated 24 hours over using competing frac plugs. This translates into direct operating

cost savings for the customer.

During the drill up process, it is very important that a Frac Plug’s componentsare capable of being drilled up into pieces that are small enough as to not get

the tool string hung up or stop-up the choke manifolds during flow back. Thecombination of the material formulation of the MEG Frac Plug and the unique

design of our slips have proven to be a combination that drills or mills up very fast, with cuttings that pose no threat to the possibility of stopping up a choke

manifold when flowed back.

The patented formulation of materials that the MEG Frac Plug is comprised of has been proven to have unbelievable drill up times.

The McClinton Energy Frac Plug is designed to give the user the benefit of positive engagement between two plugs. During the drill out process when a Frac Plug is drilled out to the Nose Cone portion, the slips will no longer hold the Nose Cone and it drop to the plug below. The Patented Crown Design on the Mandrel allows the Nose Cone to set securely in the crown of the frac plug below, which prevents the Nose Cone portion from spinning, allowing it to be easily drilled or milled up.

The Average Drill out time for a mustang series frac plug is 6-10 minutes per plug!

BICO SpiroStar Stators provide strength, durability and increased power output making them the smart choice for optimum performance in today’s ever-changing and harsher environments. Proven performance derived over years of field testing has established SpiroStar as the market leader. SpiroStar Stators are commercially available in sizes ranging from 1-11/16” through 8”.

• More power – Underlying steel lobes permit the rubber to achieve a stronger seal resulting in 2x more power than most conventional motors. This often results in higher effective ROP’s due to more time on bottom drilling in directional steering applications due to a more consistent tool face. This can be critical in high angle, extended reach, performance drilling, over thrust drilling or applications where you need more power such as when you require high weight on bit or run larger bi-center bits in a deepwater application.

• Longer life – Uniform thickness of injected elastomer in each tool reduces the probability of chunking due to hysteretic failure since the elastomer is structurally supported by the steel tube. We currently have stators in the field that have in excess of 1200 circulating hours without being relined.

• Higher temperature ratings – Thin, uniform thickness of the rubber causes it to expand very little with temperature changes. Heat generated in standard drilling operations is more readily dissipated through the thin layer of rubber, directly to the steel tube. Even Wall power sections have been run in wells with temperatures approaching 400 degrees.

• Chemical resistance – Fluids that tend to swell or soften other various rubber compounds on the market do not effect the Even Wall stators in many cases. Performance in oil based and synthetic muds has been impressive and the number of relines has been greatly reduced.

• Improved performance capability – In many directional applications a shorter tool can be run due to the higher power output per unit length. This has permitted higher dogleg capability and increased the use of motors in specialty applications. Some of the specialty applications have included dual laterals, open hole sidetracks, use on production decks of offshore platforms, coiled tubing and coal bed methane applications.

COILED TUBING CONNECTOR

HYDRAULIC DISCONNECT DUAL CIRCULATING SUB

DUAL FLAPPER CHECK VALVE

One of the most important tools in a Coil Tubing Bottom Hole Assembly is the Connector. It is the link between the BHA and the pipe itself. As such, it should be able to withstand severe conditions such as side loading, snubbing, and pulling under manydifferent well bore environments. The HDT “Slim/Set” line of Connectors has proven time and time again to be the strongest and most reliable Connectors available today. It is available in standard service material and L-80 sour service material upon request.

The models include:

1.438” OD for 1” Coil

1.687” OD for 1 1/4” Coil

1.938” OD for 1 1/2” Coil

2.188” OD for 1 3/4” Coil

2.438” OD for 2” Coil

Heavy Duty “HD” models are also available and are referred to as “Slip/Set” Connectors

The Hydraulic Disconnect is used to provide a means of remote separation of the tool string from the coil tubing by way of a drop ball. The lug style of the “BMF” has proven time and again to be the industries strongest to date allowing for operators to effectively and repeatedly jar with this tool in fishing assemblies. It also has a very strong anti-rotational featurefor use with mud motors.

The models include:

1.687” OD

2.125” OD

2.875” OD

The use of a Dual Circulating Sub allows operators to remote by-pass operating fluids that may potentially harm mud motor components. This Is done by means of a drop ball that will shift a piston and divert the fluid around any tool below. It also has a rupture port feature that willshear and allow circulation inthe event a mill becomes plugged solid and circulation cannot be achieved for disconnecting purposes.

The models include:

1.687” OD

2.125” OD

2.875” OD

The Dual Flapper Check Valve is used to prevent well bore pressure from flowing back through the work string. It has a large diameter ID through the cartridge valve seat to allow for maximum flow rates and minimum flow restrictions. Unlike other Flapper Valves, the HDT Valve has replaceable Vitonseats which keeps maintenancecost to a minimum. It is also considerably shorter in length than other available valves. Aflas and Teflon seats available upon request.

The vision of this design is to be on the front end of Shale Play, Multi-Well completion pads. It minimizes the amount of overhead by designing a spread of ‘Must-Haves’. The design footprint is a must have on Mega Pads. The safety and Environmental Protections, Footprint, and Operating Areas are highly significant to the safety and success of high rate pressure fracs.

Adamandt also has 20 miles of 10” polyurethane lay flat hose available, which allows for quick layout and retrieval along with more flexibility. With the ability to layout and retrieve up to 1 mile in 30 minutes, we are able to “change on the fly” by decreasing layout and retrieval times almost as much as 90%.

The leak proof and chemical resistance of this hose allows us to transfer produced and other chemical-laden water that is not possible due to system leaks inherent in aluminum irrigation pipe systems. There are also fewer chances for failure using high quality couplings that require only 8 connections per mile compared to 176 connections per mile for aluminum irrigation pipe.
