Have you ever noticed that weird red stuff that you see when you get a cut? The stuff that might make you freak out? Well that ''Freaky'' stuff is a very important part of your body, and it is YOUR BLOOD!!!!!!!!

Introduction

❏ Blood has 4 main parts to it: Red blood cells, White blood cells, Plasma and Platelets.

❏ White blood cells fight infections and germs. Red blood cells carry oxygen and nutrients and also take away carbon dioxide in your blood.

❏ Plasma carries substances through your blood, plasma is the substance blood is in.

❏ The Platelet’s job is to clot holes in veins and cuts.

Fun Fact: Did you know that one half of blood is red cells, white cells and platelets, and the other half is plasma.

There are eight different blood types 1. Blood type A+2. Blood type A-3. Blood type B+4. Blood type B-5. Blood type AB+6. Blood type AB-7. Blood type O+8. Blood type O- Did You Know? That one out of one hundred people have blood type AB- !! Blood type O+ is the most common blood type.

jobs, like fighting infections or germs.● Some cancer signs are, unexplained weight loss, fever, fatigue, pain and

skin changes.

How To Avoid Getting Blood Cancer

● Leukemia first starts of in your bone marrow.● When somebody has leukemia, they have A LOT of

white blood cells.● White blood cells, or leukemia cells multiply, instead

of dying like normal white blood cells.

Leukemia Symptoms

No one knows exactly what causes leukemia. Sometimes when people are exposed to certain types of radiation, chemicals in cleaning and in other household items or to smoking, a person’s chances of getting leukemia is higher than if they were notexposed to them.

In conclusion, to my project, I am very glad that I did blood as my project, for fun and personal reasons. Also, before I studied blood, I honestly had no idea what blood was, except when you bleed blood comes out of your skin, and there are red blood cells and white blood cells. Also, I wanted to learn more about blood cancer and leukemia.
