Bihar: - Bharat Scouts and Guides, Saran Dist organ-

ised Drawing and Poster Making competition on the occa-

sion of safer Internet day on 09th Feb. 2016.

Jharkhand: - Safer Internet Day was observed at St. Xavier

School, Hazaribagh on 09th February 2016. On this occasion

Drawing– Painting and Poster Making competitions were organ-

ised under the leadership of Scout Master Shri Binay Mohan

Chowdhary and Smt. Nandita Chakroborty. Shri Father P.J.

James, Principal and Sister Rekha was witness of the pro-

gramme, they blessed the Scouts and Guides. At the end of pro-

gramme prize was Awarded to victorious Scout and Guide.

East Coast Railway: - PULSE POLIO IMMUNIZATION

PROGRAMME :Pulse polio immunization programme is an im-portant activity of Govt. of India, where in Rovers & Rangers of Headquarters open group, Khurdaroad division extend their ser-vice to the Hospital authorities to manage & run different Pulse Polio booth at Railway Stations, Rating colony, Loco colony & Main Hospital on 17th January 2016

East Coast Railway: On 22nd February Thinking day was

observed at all the Dist. of E.Co.Rly/ BS&G. At Khur-da Road district scout den about 130 members par-ticipated in the All Faith Prayer meeting. All as-sembled to pay their hom-age to LORD BADEN POWELL & LADY BADEN

POWELL on their birth anniversary. The Thinking day Theme From 2005 to 2016 is befittingly propagated through slogans (Posters). Our S.O.C.(S) Shri Ranjit Kumar Das insisted all members to be committed & devoted to our PROMISE, LAW &

MOTTO.

West Bengal : On the occasion of Thinking Day..we

celebrated this auspicious day with The Frank Anthony Public School (10th East Calcutta FAPS Scout Group), Kolkata. The principle Mr. Mier along with the vice principle was welcomed all of them. The Cubs of East Culcutta and the Bangladesh cubs did the Cub Greetings . The Deputy National Commis-sioner of Bangladesh scouts Mr. Firdous has presented a memento as token of love to the principle, after that they were visited some class rooms in the school. some scouts and guides also exchanged their scarf and woggle.

Eastern Railway: The 58th Annual Group Day of South

Group, Eastern Railway, Kanchrapara District, was successful-

ly celebrated at the Den premises.

Bihar:- Voter Awareness Rally – Bharat Scouts &

Guides, Aurangabad District Association organised Voter Awareness Rally on the occasion of National Voter Day at Col-lectrate Gate, Aurangabad. Shri Sanjeev Singh, Dy. Develop-ment Commissioner, has flagged off the Awareness Rally. Shri Kanwal Tanwar, District Magistrate, Aurangabad encouraged to all . The scouts & Guides have actively participated in the awareness rally. Rally was lead by Shri Sriniwas Kumar, State Secretary, Bharat Scout & Guide, Aurangabad.

National Road Safety Week :- Bharat Scouts &

Guides, Saran District organ-ised Road Safety Week from 10th to 16th January. Scouts and Guides were distributed poster and leaflet .

Odisha: - 27th National Road Safety Week 2016 -

The 27th National Road Safety Week 2016 was observed by many District Associations of Odisha State from 11th of January (Monday) to the 17th of January. More than 400 Scouts & Guides from different districts have participated in the Road Safety Week Observation in their locality. Road safety leaflets were distributed to the travelers on the road by our Scouts & Guides. Mass Awareness Rally on “Road Safety” was also organized in the locality to encourage the use of helmets & also to aware the people the speed limit of the vehicles to prevent road acci-dents. Quiz competition on road safety was also organized to promote about road safety.

East Central Railway: - East Central Railway Bharat

Scouts & Guides of Dhanbad division presented their cultural

programme based on tribute to Gandhiji and Swach Bharat Ab-

hiyan during Republic Day Programme on 26th Jan. at Railway

Stadium, Dhanbad. The programme

was appreciated by all officers, staff

and local public. The cultural pro-

gramme was organised under the

leadership of D.C. (Scout).

Jharkhand: - Road Safety Week was observed by Bharat

Scouts & Guides, Dumka District Associations. Scouts and Guides encourage the use of Helmets and ties Sheet belt during driving. This programme was organized under the direction of Vipul Shukla Superintendent of Police in the leadership of Dist. Secretary Vijay Dubey .

East Coast Railway: SWACHHA BHARAT ABHIYAN: Sambhalpur:- On 23rd January Sambalpur division celebrated

Netaji Jayanti .An all faith prayer was conducted in the morning. Scouts & Guides participated in Swach Bharat Abhiyan at Rly col-onies and station premises .They cleaned the area & campaign for cleanliness tips to the public. Khorda :- On 24th & 25th January the Bharat Scouts & Guides, East Coast Railway, organized Swachh Bharat abhiyan (CLEAN INDIA, GREEN INDIA). Scouts and Guides participated in Awareness Rally, Campaign, Nukad Natak on clean India Green India. They also took cleanliness drive at different public places like: Rly station temple church etc.

Jharkhand: Dumka District – The Bharat Scouts and Guides, Dumka District Association

organised a Swachh Bharat service on the occasion of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Birthday on 23rd January at Scout Guide Maidan, Dumka. In the Swachh Bharat drive service Shri Sub-

hash Chandra Shinku, District Education officer, Dumka District present as Chief Guest under the leader ship of Shri Vijay Dubey District Secretary with the help of Shri Apresh Kumar.200 Scouts, Guides and District official have partici-pated in cleaning programme and really worked hard to clean the entire ground & taken a step towards Swachh Bharat Sunder Bharat Abhiyaan. Ramgarh District –Swachh Bharat Abhiyan organised at

St. Francis High School, Ramgarh on 02nd February 2016. Scouts and Guides have participated in Cleanliness Programme under the leadership of the Shri Suraj Kumar District Organising Commissioner (Scout), Ramgarh Dist.
