Purina for Professionals

As a valued partner, your shelter staff is eligible to receive discounted food through our Purina for Professionals program. It’s a great way for your staff to feed the same food to their personal pets that you feed in your shelter. The following slides will guide you through the process to set up a new account.

To access the website go to: www.purinaforprofessionals.com

Click Create Account

Fill in the required information. Under “Role” please choose “Other.”

Once you have submitted your information successfully, you will see the confirmation message.

You will receive an email to complete your registration. Please click the link to continue. The link will expire in 72 hours.

Login using the information you initially provided. Click login to access the site.

Choose the box that says Shelter Employees to finish your application.

Fill out the account information including shipping information & billing address (optional.)

To find your shelter, click “Click to Locate Your Shelter.”

Enter the zip code of your shelter to find it in our database.

If your shelter is already registered, click Select next to the shelter. If your shelter is not listed, please send an email to customerservice@purinaforprofessionals.com.

Once you have filled out all the information and clicked Submit, you will receive a confirmation page. Your application will go through a verification process and you will hear back within 5 business days via email.

Click the link on your approval email to begin ordering food.

Our products are split into three categories.

Pro Plan, Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets, and Shelter Products. The Shelter Products tab is where you will find all other non-Pro Plan brands.

Choose the item you wish to purchase on the shop page.

Some items may come in different sizes. Choose the one you want from the drop down, enter the quantity for this order and click Add to Cart. You may also choose to set up auto shipments by selecting the frequency in the drop down box provided. If you choose an option other than one-time shipment, that food will automatically be sent to you and charged to the credit card on file.
