Pure Alpaca Reversible Cable Moebius

The twist in the moebius shape allows it to sit nicely as a snood or off the shoulder capelet.

Skill Level: Intermediate Size: 13” wide x 32” long. Directions given for making a wider piece.

Materials: Cascade Yarns® Pure Alpaca 100% Baby Alpaca 100 g (3.5 oz) / 220 yds (200 m) 2 skeins Pure Alpaca # 3027(Azure) US 7 circular knitting needle, or size necessary to obtain gauge. Cable Needle Yarn Needle Stitch Markers

Gauge: 24 sts = 4” (10 cm) in K2, P1 Rib Pattern. Abbreviations: BO = Bind Off CO = Cast On CN = Cable Needle K = Knit P = Purl Sl = Slip St(s) = Stitch(es) PM = Place Marker

Cables: (Cables are kept in rib pattern). C9F: Slip 9 st to CN, hold in front, work next 9 sts of section in Rib Pattern, work sts from CN in Rib Pattern. C9B: slip 9 st to CN, hold in back, work next 9 sts of section in Rib Pattern, work sts from CN in Rib Pattern. C12F: Slip 12 st to CN, hold in front, work next 12 sts of section in Rib Pattern, work sts from CN in Rib Pattern. C12B: Slip 12 st to CN, hold in back, work next 12 sts of section in Rib Pattern, work sts from CN in Rib Pattern. Note: The first stitch of each row is slipped purlwise. This makes a pleasing, elastic edge.
