This Addendum is issued to provide additional information and clarifications to the ITT for the above named project, to the extent referenced and shall become a part thereof. No consideration will be allowed for extras due to the Tenderer not being familiar with this addendum. This Addendum No. 2 contains two (2) pages plus five (5) Drawings for seven (7) pages in total. 1.0 Drawings 1.1 Drawing A101 re-issued with revision to Door Schedule and Door Leaf Type. 1.2 Drawings A102 and A305 re-issued with revisions to Floor Finish Legend. 1.3 Main Floor and Second Floor Demo Plans, A201b and A202b, revised to better describe scope

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:

Q1. What books and furniture contents will be removed prior to construction?

A1. Books will be removed by Owner. Furniture, fixtures and equipment to be retained by Owner will be relocated and stored prior to construction start. Furniture and equipment left on site is to be removed and disposed of by this Contractor. Refer to revised drawings A201b and A202b for furniture demarcation.

Second Floor Meeting Room 207 and adjacent Storage Room 208 will be used for Owner furnishings storage during the project. Coordinate finishing work in these rooms with furniture moving, to take place at end of project.

Q2. CPT-1 o Spec reads “Urban Retreat – UR304” – col# 103662 – Stone/Spun Gold o Finish Legend on dwg. A102 – shows 2 products

One is as per the spec The other is noted as “Urban Retreat” – col# 102972 – Stone

• This colour number is an “Urban Retreat – UR303” o Please confirm product number

o The Floor Finish Plan – dwg. A305 does not show 2 colours/products for locations to receive CPT-1

Please confirm a ratio of the 2 colours (50-50), and whether they are to be a random installation or a specific pattern.

• Please supply a layout for CPT-1 areas if there is a specific pattern required.

A2. Carpet tile “Urban Retreat” – col#102972 – Stone deleted. CPT-1 to be only “Urban Retreat” – col#103662 – Stone/Spun Gold. See revised A102 Finish Legend.

Q4. Please confirm the required Carpet tile Warranty period required. o Spec section 09 68 13 – section 1.9 – Warranty – part 1 – Provide Manufacturer’s

standard Fifty (15) Year Warranty.

2. Wall types with fire resistance ratings must comply with all requirements of the referenced assembly as set out in their published design references. Rating requirements are noted on each wall type.

Demo Notes1. No Work in washrooms, elevator and 2nd floor storage room. Protect existing walls, ceiling, fixtures and lighting were work not involved.2. No change to Stair 2, other than main floor landing.3. Main Floor - Remove existing floor finishes on main floor. Protect existing interior.4. Second Floor - SEPARATE PRICE for new carpet on 2nd floor. Protect existing interior including millwork, fixtures and lighting.

5. Greyed loose furniture/ equipment to be salvaged. To be removed and stored in the 2nd floor Meeting Room by Owner for reuse prior to construction.

6. Not greyed loose furniture/ equipment to be demolished/ removed by contractor. Care to be taken to minise building damage. Repair/ patch floor, wall and ceiling penetrations created by demolition.
