Concept

‘Scribido Talks’ is an online platform where students get the opportunity to express their thoughts, opinions, share real-life stories and discoveries on their selected topics with millions of viewers.

Format

‘Scribido Talks’ will be hosted on www.scribidocampus.com. The event will feature selected videos from Scribido Talks Student Ambassadors, from various prominent schools & colleges in Pune City. Students can talk on any original topic or idea and the same will then be shot and produced at the Scribido Campus Studio. The finale will be when the videos are uploaded online and parents and school students will vote for the best video, thus ensuring a competition between the best Students in your city!

First Selection

Students will go through a rigorous auditioning process and will be selected on the basis of their choice of topic, idea presentation and originality of content. There is no maximum limit to the number of entries. The age-wise categories to participate for ‘Scribido Talks’ are:

Steps for participating in Scribido Talks and becoming a Scribido Talks Ambassador 1.Select your topic from the list of topics given below.2. Register yourself for the Scribido Talks on our website www.scribidocampus.com. Registrations are open till 12th April 2019.Audition Details: Students can come for Auditions either on 30th March OR on 13th April 2019. Location for the auditions will be communicated soon.5.Things to do when you come for the auditions--> Introduce yourself (be as descriptive as possible), state your name, standard, topic. Read only the first paragraph of your transcript and then answer a few questions asked by the judges on the understanding of your topic. 6. Results of the Auditions will be e-mailed to the participants.NOTE: The duration of your Talk should be within 3-5 minutes. Exceeding 5 minutes will disqualify you from the competition.7. The selected students will get to attend a 3-day Intensive Workshop on Articulation with the Scribido Campus Team on 19th, 20th & 21st April 2019. The charges for the same will be Rs. 2500/-. It is compulsory for all selected Scribido Talks Ambassador to attend this workshop.8. The 3-Day Intensive Workshop will train the selected students in two phases: Scripting & Articulation. The workshop will make you perfectly ready for your final frontier, ‘Scribido Talks!’9. Once the workshop is completed, students will be called on 27th or 28th April 2019 to record their ‘Talk’ in our specially designed studio with the help of a team of professionals. 10. Give your Scribido Talk (Cool, Calm and Confident) 11. Once the videos are shot and produced, they will then be published on our website. Friends, Parents and Well-Wishers can then visit our website to see and hear our well-articulated students and marvel at their imagination.12. Savour the Glory (And do the Floss Dance) ;)

Topic Guidelines for the Scribido Talks Speaker

Like a good magazine article, your idea can be new or surprising, or challenge a belief your audience already has. Or it can be a great basic idea with a compelling new argument behind it. An idea isn’t just a story or a list of facts. A good idea takes evidence or observations and draws a larger conclusion.

And if you still find it difficult to come up with an idea, worry not. We have created a list of topics for each category from which you can choose your desired topic for the talk
