MAKING OUR SCHOOL SURROUNDING A SECURE PLACE TO LIVE IN

Change can not be done OVERNIGHT

BUT

By continuous effort for years POSSIBLE

* Our school is surrounded by agricultural fields in three sides and two wells nearby.

* We don’t have compound walls around our school.

* The major problem we face in our school is frequent visit of harmful reptiles mostly snakes of venomous kind.

*Another problem we face is people nearby use school surrounding as the open toilet and garbage area .

1. FEEL

WELLS NEARBY CAMPUS

* Creating awareness among public regarding campus clean.

* Student’s active participation in campus cleaning.

* Collecting fund from parents and making compound.

* Bringing this problem to the knowledge of the higher officials of district or union level, asking them to take further steps.

* Giving petition to village president.

* Giving petition to Panchayat Union Councilor.

* Cost of making compound comes around 3-5 lakhs so it is hard to collect money from parents, since most of the people are economically poor.

2. IMAGINE - Ideas we received are:

• Our Panchayat union councilor said that there is a plan called ‘thai thittam’ from state government.

• Our Panchayat union councilor arranged fund from the above plan.

• With that fund compound wall has been built around our school with grill gate.

• Now our school is safer than before
