www.dekalb.k12.ga.us 1 Publix Donation to Support Homeless Students WHAT: On behalf of Publix's customers, Publix Supermarkets has proudly presented the DeKalb County School District with the proceeds from the 2013 Food for All Campaign. A check in the amount of $2500 was presented to the School Social Work Department and McKenney Vento Homeless Liaisons during a check presentation in late spring. The funds received will be specifically used to assist homeless students and families in the district by providing food for healthy meals. This is the second year that this donation has been presented to the school district in support of tireless efforts to serve families in need. WHAT: On behalf of Publix's customers, Publix Supermarkets has proudly
presented the DeKalb County School District with the proceeds from the 2013 Food for All Campaign. A check in the amount of $2500 was presented to the School Social Work Department and McKenney Vento Homeless Liaisons during a check presentation in late spring.
