    Commencement

    2. This notice commences 13 April 2012.

    Making of subordinate local laws

    3. Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government Act 2009,Redland City Council, by resolution dated the 28 March 2012made: (a) Redland City Council Animal Management (Amendment)

    Subordinate Local Law (No. 1) 2012 (the “AnimalManagement Amendment Subordinate”) which amendsRedland Shire Council Subordinate Local Law No. 2(Animal Management) 2007 ; and

    (b) Redland City Council Regulated Parking (Amendment)Subordinate Local Law (No. 1) 2012 (the “RegulatedParking Amendment Subordinate”) which amendsSubordinate Local Law No. 19 (Regulated Parking) ; and

    (c) Redland City Council Roads (Amendment) SubordinateLocal Law (No.1) 2012 (the “Roads AmendmentSubordinate”) which amends Subordinate Local LawNo. 21 (Roads).

    Adoption of consolidated versions of subordinate local laws

    4. Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government Act 2009,Redland City Council, by resolution dated the 28 March 2012,adopted a consolidated version of each of:(a) Redland City Council Subordinate Local Law No. 2

    (Animal Management) 2007 ; and (b) Subordinate Local Law No.19 (Regulated Parking) ; and(c) Subordinate Local Law No.21 (Roads) .

    Purpose and general effect

    5. The purpose and general effect of:(a) the Animal Management Amendment Subordinate is to

    amend Redland Shire Council Subordinate Local Law No. 2(Animal Management) 2007 by updating the scheduleof dog off-leash exercise areas; and

    (b) the Regulated Parking Amendment Subordinate is toamend Subordinate Local Law No. 19 (Regulated Parking)by updating the schedule of off-street regulated parkingareas; and

    (c) the Roads Amendment Subordinate is to amendSubordinate Local Law No. 21 (Roads) by inserting aschedule of off-street regulated parking areas, toimplement the provisions of the local law which regulatethe parking of unregistered vehicles on off-streetregulated parking areas.

    Local law that authorises subordinate local law to be made

    6. The local laws which authorise the making of the subordinatelocal laws are as follows:(a) Redland Shire Council Local Law No. 2 (Animal

    Management) 2007 authorises the making of theAnimal Management Amendment Subordinate; and

    (b) Local Law No. 19 (Regulated Parking) authorises themaking of the Regulated Parking AmendmentSubordinate; and

    (c) Local law No. 21 (Roads) authorises the making of theRoads Amendment Subordinate.

    Inspection

    7. A certified copy of each of:(a) the Animal Management Amendment Subordinate; and

    (b) the Regulated Parking Amendment Subordinate; and(c) the Roads Amendment Subordinate; and

    (d) the consolidated versions of each of:(i) Redland City Council Subordinate Local Law No. 2

    (Animal Management) 2007 ; and(ii) Subordinate Local Law No. 19 (Regulated Parking) ;

    and

    (iii) Subordinate Local Law No. 21 (Roads) ,

    may be inspected and purchased at the local government’spublic office at corner Bloomfield Street and Middle Street,Cleveland and inspected at the Department’s State office atlevel 17, Mineral House, 41 George Street, Brisbane.
